I got my septum pierced. Between soap irritating the piercing and surrounding skin and the spray bottles of saline wound washes getting used up in a matter of days I needed a longer lasting and gentle alternative. This is the ticket.It is more inconvenient than soap or spray saline because: I need to have a measuring cup and measuring spoon (that I gotta wash before and after use), I have to buy a jug of purified water, pour it in my measuring cup, go to the kitchen to microwave it, go back to the bathroom to spoon in the right amount of salt and stir until dissolved, make sure the temp isn't going to burn me and then finally soak in various ways for several minutes.But on the plus side I'm getting a LOT of uses out of it, it is more gentle on my skin, it soothes the sometimes angry and still healing skin around the piercing, and I just feel much better and cleaner after using it.If this is your choice method for cleaning healing piercings I'd recommend this product.

I started using this almost a year after getting my nipnaps pierced. I was getting crust still and sometimes a little puss and after using this for a few weeks straight they are better than ever!! I use it once at night, just a little punch in a shot glass, stir it up and soak it works like a charm!!

It’s just salt. I’m so confused. I bought it because someone in the reviews said they made it into a paste and applied it to their bump. But when it arrived I looked at it, took a look at the ingredients, and realized it’s Just Salt.

This stuff is awesome. Keeps my piercings clean and I made it into a paste for a bump in my nose ring and the next morning it was basically gone. I ordered another tub of it to keep on hand.

Seems to be the only thing that is helping to shrink my nose ring bump.
