Well suited to light camera set ups.

Top quality item as expected. Haven’t used it much yet but seems ideal for my Sony a6700 and zoom lens.

The picture doesn't accurately represent the product

I love Peak Design, the products and design is superb. From a product performance point of view, this is 5 star.I initially gave the product a 3 star review. The reason for the lower score is that I needed a strap, two anchor links for that strap, and two additional anchor links for an extra camera. The image shows a strap and four anchor links. Excellent, I thought! But what arrives is a strap with two anchor links.Except.I came to use the strap today, and as well as the two anchor links in the box, there are *two more already attached to the strap*! So nothing incorrect about the description at all. Just me being a numpty. So, in summary, another excellent Peak Design product.

Great Interchangeable Camera Strap

I have two DSLR cameras; a Canon EOS 6D Mark II and a Fujifilm X-E3. I swap between them depending on what I'm doing and where I'm going. I also tend to swap straps on both quite regularly. If I'm using a long, heavy lens on the EOS I'll use a heavy duty harness slide-strap from Black Rapid because it takes they weight better and feels more secure. However, if I'm just out and about with the X-E3 I might use either a simple shoulder strap or a wrist strap, as they offer more flexibility. The problem with all this swapping around is that changing straps is a time consuming pain. However, when I read a review of the Peak Design Leash Camera I thought I might have found a solution to that issue. It turns out that I was right. The beauty of peak design's system is the way that their straps are attached to the body of the camera. Rather than threading the end of the strap directly through the eyelets on the body, you instead attach anchor links to the camera body and then clip these into connectors on the strap. The design of both elements make the connection between them about as secure as it is possible to be, and its almost impossible to incorrectly connect them. The anchor links are also standardised, and so will work with any Peak Design product. What this means is that I can have the small, unobstrusive anchor links permanently connected to both my cameras, and can simply clip the leash camera strap to whichever one I'm using that day. That way I only need to purchase one strap for two cameras. I have also purchased Peak Design's wrist strap, which uses the same system and can quickly swap across to this too. And when I want to use my Black Rapid slide strap on the EOS I don't have to spend any time detaching a shoulder strap first. One or Two clicks and the Wrist or Leash Straps are gone and I can attach my slide strap via the camera's tripod thread connector.By making it so easy to remove the straps I also don't have to worry about packing either camera into a bag with a strap still attached, saving space and making stowage a lot easier and neater. In terms of comfort the Leash Camera Strap is a significant improvement on the straps that come with most cameras. Its made from high quality, tough fabric and is easily adjustable. Its a little narrow and lacks a shoulder pad, so I wouldn't use it when shooting over a long period of time, but for casual use its absolutely fine. It will happily take the weight of my 6D Mk II plus a relatively substantial lens. If you want something designed for longer use Peak Design also offer the wider, heavier duty 'Slide' strap, which uses the same anchor link design.Overall, if you're someone like me with multiple cameras that they use for different things and in different ways, then any of the Peak Design straps will be useful. If you're looking for one specifically for casual use and with a reasonable price point then you can't go far wrong with the Leash version.

Creat narrow lightweight strap that's easy to switch around

This is quite a narrow strap that is highly flexible in how you attach o the camera or camera and lens. Carry it across your body and it stays in place fine, but it can easily slide off your shoulder if you just carry your camera on one shoulder as there is no grippy section on the inside.I like the quick release element and it certainly seems durable enough. I'm using it on a Canon EOS R6 Mark II with a range of different lenses, but I don't continually carry the camera on the strap. You might want to go for one of the larger wider straps for extended comfort.

I am delightfully surprised.

I've always used the standard strap that comes with the camera and never thought anything of changing it because I had the 1 shooting styles. It's only after I started seeing other people on YouTube not even using a strap that I started thinking about it.The length of the strap is long enough so that you can have an over the on one shoulder and over the body style. You can very easily and quickly shrink it down to having the strap around your neck with the camera at your chest. Additionally, you can remove the strap and go strapless. There are the anchor points which remain, but don't really get in the way especially when you use a tripod. They introduce a 3rd point of where you can attach the strap by attaching it to the tripod mount. It helps a lot to change the angle of the camera when it's hanging on you especially when you have a longer lens. It also frees up the area where you grip.I have also since bought the wrist strap, so I can also have the peace of mind that when I do go "strapless", it's attached to me and if it slips out of my hand, it won't hit the floor.

Simply the best!

Worth every penny. You can use a heavy camera arrangement with total confidence, example in my case, Nikon D810 plus battery grip and the Sigma 150-600mm lens, a heavy collation, absolutely no problem. It's great to be able to attach and detach the strap in seconds, you can dump all your old straps which quite honestly are next to useless. Excellent product.
