So much fun!! We loved doing this as a family. This was challenging, but the clues came together and we were able to solve the mystery! I love how the game provides clues for if you are stuck as well!

We have purchased a few of these and they are so much fun! They take some time to get through which is nice. My daughter has used them for sleepovers and they have a blast! Highly recommend.

I did not think the teens would get a kick out this but they proved me wrong. Thanks a million

Fun game if you love crime solving games. Only downfall is it’s a 1 time use game since there’s only 1 victim.

This game was very disappointing. I love murder mysteries, but they aren't really my husband's cup of tea, so after playing this sad excuse for a game it will probably be a while before I get him to sit down with one again. Gotta rebuild the trust after this one.I won't spoil anything for you, but as a comparison, we previously played the Antarctica expedition mystery by the same company and that one was well fleshed out. It had great supplementals, including an online component for computer sleuthing, and relevant clues, along with red herrings. The whole package. At the end, we felt we played something of substance.This game, however, concluded on such a weak note it left us both fighting over which of us gets to throw it in the trash. Usually we gift our games to friends who also like to play, but we can't decide who we dislike enough to bequeath this one to. From now, I'm going to really have to do my research if I ever want to play another mystery with my partner.

There's no mystery here"Mystery" implies something to figure out: clues to follow, a timeline to unravel, definitive ideas to understand who did or didn't do it. But there's no "there" there for this case. You're given this porridge of ill-defined motivations, no REAL evidence per se, timelines with enough exceptions and ambiguity to drive a dump truck through, a nontrivial pile of evidence that is just complete red herrings, and... that's it.Here's a real easy example: There are a number of clues that talk about the "rust" on the hands of the victim, and making sure to establish the struggle that indicates a struggle from the victim holding on to something. But then they show a photo of the crime scene: a glimmering chrome handrail, with no obvious signs of rust. Is that evidence that the murder took place somewhere else? Or just a sign that the mystery writers didn't collaborate with the photographers? In another case there is a CLEAR contradiction between the evidence and a witness statement. A smoking gun that points at a larger truth or conspiracy, or... just another mistake? Place your bets!We went through every piece of evidence, and then every hint provided. THEN we read through every possible solution. And we still never had a "smoking gun" of "Oh, this is why this person didn't do it" or "This is why this person COULDN'T have done it." The solutions like to spout of things like, "This person probably didn't do it because only 5% of murder victims do such-and-such" . . . but then the ACTUAL solution is so seemingly arbitrary and pointless that you can't help but go, "Oh, okay."So if you want a mystery that will leave you unsatisfied, shrugging and going "oh, okay" when you're done, this one is recommended. Otherwise, we bought this one despite other poor reviews because we'd previously had a complete set of these Murder Mystery Party games... but I think this one is the case that makes me go, "I'm not buying any more of these." Typing those words breaks my heart a bit, because previous cases in the series have generally ranged from "fine" to "excellent." I'm not sure what happened during the process of this case's creation that led it to the state it's in, but it didn't live up to the professional standards that we've happily paid for elsewhere in the series, which makes it all the more upsetting.The high production values and general cleanness of the text are what keep this from receiving a lower score from me.
