GRISUN Rectangular Stainless Steel Drop-in Fire Pit Kit

Used this for a home built fire table. Overall quality is good and it works and looks great except for a couple of annoying things. 1. The igniter quit working almost immediately and no matter how I position or expose it, it won’t light the propane. 2. I had to replace a pipe fitting that leaked regardless of how tight or the use of Teflon tape. Pretty critical, besides being dangerous, the leaking froze parts of the supply line.

I recently purchased a great item and am very pleased with it and the knob did not fit properly However, to connect it to natural gas, I had to buy a 15-foot, 1/2 inch ID natural gas grill hose that comes with quick connect fittings. This hose is suitable for various low-pressure appliances, including grills and pizza ovens.

Any ideas on this issue? I have glass stones around the base of the H element. Seems like there is some black buildup on them as well.Using a standard propane tank

Aside from the igniter not working since day one, my experience started as impressed, now heading to disappointment.Since I bought it a few months back, I use my fire table 3 times a week and I've noticed in the last month that after lighting, the flame will gradually decrease until it flickers out. I have adjusted the regulator to compensate, but this only lasts so long.At some point in the next month or so, I will be replacing this. I just need to do my research..
