Lovely yarn - beautiful color, lovely hand feel, soft yet still substantial

I'm very happy with this yarn, first time buying any route of cashmere and this did not disappoint. Easy to work with once I unwound from skeins and rolled on a spool to keep from getting tangled. I mistakenly thought I could skip this and found out the hard way after I got it so tangled I took hours to get it to a point I could use it. Totally my fault but once I corrected I find it is much easier to work with and very soft finished items.

Bought it as a gift for a friend who loves to knit. She loved it. The color (blue) is a little muted but still pretty. The yarn looks like good quality.

I always wanted to make something with cashmere, so this Christmas Santa brought me this 100% cashmere yarn from Gisimo. Ravelry shows some hat and scarf projects in this yarn - not much. I chose a scarf because it is unlikely to need to be washed frequently, it doesn’t require as much yarn as a sweater, and I would get to feel the cashmere against my skin.The yarn weight is somewhere between fingering and DK. The scarf I chose is called Architexture by Jennifer Weissman.The yarn is well made - so far I have run into just 1 knot in each of the two skeins I have used. It is strong as well as soft. The only downside is the requirement to “Hand wash. Dry flat.”

I repaired my sweater, excellent color. It matched my sweater perfectly!

This yarn is not as soft as other cashmere I have purchased in my local yarn store, but works up well. To me, It is a sport weight, so I making a scarf. I has a nice feel to it as I am knitting and I probably will buy more after I try washing it. Will let you know when project is finished.

The yarn has a nice hand,I ended up crocheting a simple cowl for my husband and a matching hair band for myself. The "g" hook allowed for a material with enough structure for a simple single crochet cowl,I did use a knitting needle to make ribbing on the back to allow for a more fitted shape. Overall I found the yarn worked up into a very nice,soft,strong fabric. The hand is a bit different from some other cashmere yarn I've used ( purchased directly from the fiber animal owner/farmers). That being said I do like this yarn and the soft hand.
