Powerful , need to use a 5 amp battery
This took the lugs nuts off my grand Cherokee and bolts on my rusty boat trailer suspension no Problem super powerful. You for sure need a 5 amp hour battery though. You won’t get the full power of this impact with the use of 2 hour dewalt battery.I had original tried one of the generic impact wrenches but ended up returning. This one was pricier but worth it in my opinion.

Beastmode
This thing is a beast. Well worth it. Wish I had bought/found this sooner. It hasn't failed me yet.

Delivers serious torque—built for heavy-duty jobs.
Extremely powerful impact wrench! The DEWALT DCF900B tackles tough bolts with ease and has great battery life. A bit on the heavier side, but the performance more than makes up for it.CV axle nuts, Harmonic Balancer nuts, rusted suspension parts etc - it works. Haven't found yet anything it couldn't handle.

Great tool
I pack one in each truck in case of flats. Kinda bulky but powerful and well worth it

Another Quality DeWalt Product
Way more power than I'm likely to ever need. I'm a little unsure if I like the gradual (I can't remember what they call it) go faster feature, but it does absolutely everything I could ever want. It is so powerful I might reconsider my personal needs and opt for a smaller body that can fit into tighter places. No matter. This baby is a beast.

Another great DeWalt product
I love this thing it's heavy and powerful. Don't forget to get a raincoat for it they sell several different ones that slip on it'll really make a difference while it's laying on your garage floor not scraping it up. This thing really is a beast

Works great, only complaint is you have to be careful when tightening lug nuts,I actually snapped one off because I over tightened. It should have an adjustment for the tightening of bolts which it doesn’t.

A bit top heavy but get's the job done
I've been working on cars for a few decades now and own many Air Tools.Generally Air Tools are lighter and smaller than their battery powered counterparts which make them easier to handle and helps with getting in tight spots. But the air hose can be hindrance at times.Comparing the specs on my 1/2" IR Air Impact Gun against the Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench the latter seems to have the upper hand.2135QTiImpacts per min: 1,250Torque range:Forward ft•lb (N•m)50-550 [600 Max.] (68-746 [813 Max.])Reverse ft•lb (N•m)650 [700 Max.] (881 [949 Max.])Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench:Impact at a rate of 2200 IPMMax. fastening torque:Low mode: 100 ft-lbs, 135 NmMedium mode: 600 ft-lbs, 813 NmHigh mode: 1030 ft-lbs, 1396 NmMax. breakaway torque 1400 ft-lbs, 1898 NmWatching a video on YouTube for the Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench the ratings may be slightly inflated but were nevertheless impressive. So far I've only used the tool for loosening wheel lug bolts torqued to 90 ft/lbs on my car for tire changes and the Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench handled that easily enough on setting of 1 when paired with a DCB206 20v MAX 6ah Battery. The Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench is bigger and heavier which may come into play when I try to do some work on suspension and steering bolts where are notoriously difficult to remove and access can be tight. While it is sorta cumbersome, the Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench had no issues standing up on it's own when being set down. Also it operated very smoothly and I barely noticed the impacting when in use.I purchased the Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench for when Winter comes and the cold weather makes my Air Compressor difficult to start. Instead of heating up the Garage to get the compressor warm enough to start, I can get right to work. Saving time. I also won't have to deal w/stiff rubber air hoses when moving around the car.I'm sure I'll find uses for the Dewalt DCF900 Cordless Impact Wrench during the warmer months when I encounter something my 1/2" Air Impact Gun won't budge.Since I already had both a Dewalt DCB206 20v MAX 6ah Battery and DCB204 20v MAX 4ah Battery I didn't need the whole kit, so this item fit the bill in getting the cost down.I've own many Dewalt tools in the past and am sure this one will be a welcomed addition to my Tool box.I knocked off a star cause it is a bit heavy and the only complaint I have is the location of the button to change directions. When wearing heavy work gloves and picking up and/or operating the Tool it's too easy to hit that button and change the direction from forward to reverse or vice versa. I've never enountered that before w/other Battery powered tools from Dewalt.
