No Frills Great Taste
The media could not be loaded. It takes a heck of a lot of syrup to make maple sugar candy. Therefore, it is not cheap.Sometimes I'll splurge on a more expensive brand, but there are times when you just want that maple sugar fix at a fair price.I tried this brand because the price was lower than most of the others. If that's a deciding factor for you, definitely give these a try. They arrived in No Frills packaging, but they are fresh with that slight crisp outside and the creamy interior that is like silk. They have the exact texture that they should have. This particular box looked more like factory seconds than a gift worthy product, as you can see in the video. But even at this price they are still a luxury so I'm happy to sacrifice some pretty looks for some great taste.

Marvelous Maple Candies A Must!
Absolutely delicious! This treat is my weakness for sure. I will definitely order again. Also, the price was reasonable for the quantity. They just don't last long. LOL. Because once I start eating them, my sweet tooth wants to consume them all in one sitting. HaHaHa!

Love this candle!
I’ve been searching for a candle like this forever! No soot & burns long & it even covers up cigarette smoke in the garage really well. Love it!

Tastes STALE AND OLD
This candy tastes stale and old.I agree with other one star reviewers including The one that stated "heavy and murky." I have purchased other "pure" maple syrup candies from other brands and they are light and crystaly and just melt your mouth. These are heavy and chewy! They don't taste like maple candy from other brands that I've had. Maple candy is very expensive and unfortunately this one was a waste of money.

Not a traditional texture, and the flavor was less than I hoped for.
I grew up in the northeast and my mom's family is from Maine where we often visited. This was always my favorite candy, but I have trouble finding it. This candy is not BAD, but it should not be presumed to be authentic or traditional maple sugar candy, IMO. The traditional candy has a grainier texture - like a dissolving sugar cube that is only smoother in the center of the larger pieces, but this was a much smoother, creamier kind of candy, and the flavor was not very strong. If you were going to melt it, for example and drizzle some light maple flavor over your Christmas cookies - it would likely be perfect.

Poor packaging
These arrived loose in a large voluminous envelope that allowed them to shake around enroute. Some were broken and all of them looked a little worse for the wear. This was disappointing. We had intended them for Christmas stocking stuffers, but they do not look very appetizing. The taste was crunchy on the outside like Vermont Country Store, but the inside was not creamy like theirs. These were slightly crunchy all the way through.
