Its a great phone for the price, shop around though as you can get a newer model for similar money.The device chipset is less than desirable; it can be a little laggy with more CPU intensive applications however, with that being said when the phone is not in use the SOC chipset allows the phone battery to last for an incredibly long time. Ive had quiet weekends with no calls and the phone was at 95% battery by bedtime.I had an issue where a Settings page deep in the options was not in English. I reached out to HMD via the app on the phone and within 15mins my device was fixed.I've been receiving regular updates, but I suspect this model will not be getting the Android 14 update.Overall great budget phone.

A number of the other reviews here almost put me off when considering whether to buy what turned out to be an excellent phone. The build quality surpassed my expectations in light of the fact that I ended up paying less than £100 for the device. Switching between apps is seamless and the 90hz refresh rate makes for a pleasurable experience. It's dual sim, has NFC capability and, unlike my previous phone, allows me to make contactless payments. Transferring apps and data from my old phone was an easy process; far less laborious than I had anticipated.In short, I am delighted with this purchase. I haven't owned a Nokia phone since the 90's. However, this brand will be my first port of call when replacing my phone in the future.

Needing a new mobile, but not wanting to break the bank for one, I found this by chance.It's not the lightest I had, weight-wise, but it's okay. At least I know, I am holding it.The functionality is okay and it works with the UK government app, which was a pre-requisite for the purchase.The batteries needing charging more often than I expected, about every 2 days, when I don't use it. Not sure, why that is. My last mobile lasted about 3-4 days.Overall I am quite happy with it.

The 3 day battery life made me smile. Perhaps it does if you don't use it. I found the keyboard very unresponsive. The space bar often didn't connect which meant that some typed words just came out as a long word'''canyouseewhatimeanhere? I can only type with one finger so it wasn't down to speed of typing. The letters needed typing from the right of the actual letter so for example if I typed 'a' it would come out as 's', 's' as 'd'. and so on Consequently, I had to stop after a sentence to check that a) it had left spaces between words an b) the letter typed was the one actually used.I followed the transfer data instructions. These seemed to be okay, but when I checked WhatsApp it hadn't transferred messages from that day or the day before, or the day before that (this was 4th July) however, it did transfer WhatsApp messages from the beginning of June!I found the touch screen unresponsive. It didn't work with a simple soft tap it needed a stronger application. To come out of an app you have to swipe up from a thin black line at the bottom of the screen which removes the app you were using. Then you have to return to the bottom of the screen and swipe up on a larger tab before you can open a new app. How ridiculous is that?I printed off the 46 page user guide and decided I really didn't want to read a novel before I used the phone. Consequently I only skim read the book.I am using my old Nokia 6 phone again (goodness knows how old that it) because I cant be bothered with wasting time on this G21.I always find the sales info on mobiles pointless. Does it matter if it's colour is Saharan Sunrise, Tahitian Sea or glistening charcoal, that it's only 2mm thick and weighs 1/2 gram. They are cosmetics which may be exciting for some buyers, but I want to know practical things about the keyboard, ease of use, basic operational procedures like apps and how to manoeuvre from one to another easily in other words the practicality of a phone and not its cosmetics. Perhaps I am the only person in the world who cares more about the phone's usage than how pretty it looks?

Bought this as a present for my dad and he loves it, the camera is great and the battery is also very good, he's an older man and it's quite easy for him to use, it's not too heavy and has all the features he needs, and thr Bluetooth is great

really like the phone,but bought because my samsung phone started playing up,no internet,was very hit and miss,ended up being the sim card,EE could not sort this out on the phone,But a relly helpfull guy in the EE shop in colchester sorted it in about 3 mins,so i now have new phone,which i will keep as spare,the phone does fell nice,looks nice,and i think was good value for money
