Keeps the Hawkins pressure cookers lasting forevet
This is a fairly specialized product so not a lot of people will read it. I have a number of pressure cookers. All of the Hawkins models I have were thrift store finds. One was in good shape (and is induction-cooker compatible) but it had a blown safety fuse. I was surprised to see that replacement fuses were available for Hawkins cookers on Amazon and the best deal was where I could buy three for just a bit more than a single one seemed to cost. I used one to replace the blown fuse on the cooker I found at the thrift store, which now works like new. I can't recall ever having a pressure cooker fuse blown me in the past (I'm quite careful when I use a pressure cooker) but if I run across more Hawkins models in the future, I now know that I can repair them easily and inexpensively.

Good fit
I bought this for my 3 litter Hawkins pressure cooker and it fits perfectly. Easy to clean, install, very nice built, no effect on cooking tome, easy to use and install. Cook very fast.

Overall good just got one defective but understandable!
First one out or 3 was a bit defective but the second was working fine. It is a bit hard to find this product here in US that’s why I am hiving it a 3 star. Hawkins is a good brand though for pressure cookers!

Quick and easy to install, and you get spares
Bought these when I overheated my 1.5L pressure cooker. These were quick and easy to install. I just braced the blowout part with an adjustable wrench, and used a ratchet and socket to tighten the aluminum nut on the opposite side. Took no effort at all, just a couple turns and it was tight.
