Great Product!!!
First of before I received the radio, Joying's customer was very patient answering all of my questions and even put together a bundle specific to my vehicle. I bought this unit for a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche with factory Bose system. The system performance is more than I expected, coming from a 6 year old Eonon Android radio. I was afraid the screen would be too large, but it fits just fine and does not look awkward. The provided Can-Bus works perfectly. One note I must add, after I connected all wiring and powered the unit up for the first time, there were no sounds coming from the truck's speakers. After disconnecting the radio and reconnecting it, the sound still did not come on. When this happens go to sound settings and select "turn on Amp", I believe this will not be a problem on non-Bose systems. The bezels are thin and the screen itself is very thin and practically sits flush against the dash ( this should be the case for Suburbans, Tahoea, and Yukon's). The speed of the unit is very fast and snappy, the included launcher is very nice, but I downloaded Vivid Launcher which fits my needs. To conclude, this unit is totally worth buying.

Some Issues that I need to get resolved!
The media could not be loaded. ** 11/16/2022 **I installed this unit towards the end of March. After installing the touch screen did not function. Called customer service and they helped me with this right away. The Radio just needed to be rebooted. After that it worked great. After a week I noticed some lines going thru the screen while driving then the screen went complete static. Could not see anything on the screen. The touch screen still worked but nothing on the screen was visible. After turning off the vehicle and then turning it back on the screen would sometimes come back on. If not I would power it down and remove the ribbon cable and then put back on. This usually always made it come back on. While driving it seems the screen would go out again. This has been happening every since it was installed, off and on on a daily / weekly basis. It is annoying as I need to make sure I am listening to what I want before I start driving so if the screen goes out I still have radio. I finally decided to try to figure out what is going on. I either have an issue with the ribbon cable that attaches to the screen or it is the connector on the screen itself. I pulled out the screen while still turned on and the screen started to flicker. I touched the ribbon cable and it would flicker again. I grabbed the plug and lightly pushed it up or down and the screen would flicker more. Sometimes it would go completely out. So either cable or the screen connector is the issue.Pros:1. Love the android based Head Unit in my Grand Cherokee. Large and looks nice2. Very customizable. I installed any app I want to install. Just connect it to WiFi.3. I installed Agama Car Launcher for the main screen (Personally like it better than any other)4. Large bright screen ( I use it navigating for off-road maps)5. Wifi (Turn on phone wifi and connect your radio to it, Install any android app you want to)6. Sensitive Touch screen so works with light touch7. Using Agama Car Launcher It shows my speed with GPS right on the main screen (great when you run oversize tires and your speed is off a little. Also keeps track of distance traveled better.8. Very stable radio installed. Screen is solid and does not move / bounce around when offroading9. This is the only radio I have tried that sits almost completely against the dash after install. Others I have Tried (Jensen / Kenwood) stick out about 1-2 inches away from the dash so they don't look as factory.10. You can connect a USB Keyboard or USB Volume control to help with radio functions. Volume knob is much quicker than trying to adjust volume on the screen since the radio doesn't have a volume knob.Cons:1. Screen / Ribbon issue. Still need to get resolved. I will update this review depending on how they resolve this issue for me.2. Back of screen is anodized. So It will fade from the sun coming thru the window as it does not mount flush into the dash. Not an issue at all just something to note.3. Only the left side of the steering wheel controls work. The right side don't work. I can test with a meter and both left and right change voltage when pressed. The radio only recognizes the left inputs.4. I have to keep setting the volume down steering wheel control after turning the vehicle off. The others stay programmed. Happens quite often.5. Brightness doesn't dim enough at night. Wish it was half as bright at the lowest setting6. If using a USB Volume Knob you need to unplug it before you use the screen for any input commands with the screen keyboard. For some reason the screen keyboard won't come up with the USB Volume connected.** Update 11/18/2022 **I could not see anywhere to contact the seller on Amazon and the link for troubleshooting goes directly to JoyingAuto. This is where I left a message about the issue.Positive thing is they got back to me in about 24 hours. Bad part is they asked me to contact the seller on Amazon about this issue.. I assumed Amazon Seller was the same as buying from JoyingAuto. Must not be. I Assumed this because with issues the info directs you to JoyingAuto.I will update this again if / when I get help for this issue. I would easily give this 5 stars as long as customer service takes care of this issue. What is the point of a warranty if you can't get service.

I had a rough start but Joying really does care about user satisfaction!
Sorry this is so long but I wanted to share my experience after over a year with last years flagship model.I have the Joying Flagship 2022 model that is similar to this model. "JOYING Navigation Car Stereo 11.6 Inch Octa Core Single Din Android Auto Radio Car in-Dash Navigation GPS Units with Full-Fit 1920x1080 Screen 8GB+128GB Support Bluetooth 5.1,DVR,OBD2,Back-Up Camera".Not sure I would call myself an audiophile but I have not owned a vehicle in 35 years without at least a single if not multiple amplifier sound system with component speaker systems (JL Audio) and a pair of 12" subwoofers (Kicker Solobarik) and for the past 15 years or so I have been an "Alpine only" head unit snob until someone broke into my vehicle and decided they needed my 9.x inch $1500+ Alpine deck more than I did. Saw the Seicane units made specifically for my car back in 2020 or so and gave them a try where I fell in love with all that an Android unit has to offer.Picked up a new car in 2022 and thus the cycle begins again. Decided I wanted to try the Joying unit because research at the time suggested they were the best of the Android units AND this model had the optical SPDIF output and I had spotted the Latest JL Audio Reference grade VXi amplifier series with integrated DSP as well as a SPDIF Optical in and thru put. To me this was to be the match made in heaven, no need to deal with ground loops or any sorts of noise introduced by today's EMF noisy cars along an analog signal path. Also the VXi has an Android version of DSP software and a Bluetooth adapter that should let me run all my amplifier DSP settings from the head unit. Purchased the head unit directly from Joying and they were wonderful to work with, for an additional $40 sent me the wiring harnesses to make the head unit plug right into my car with no soldering and heat shrinking involved. I did need to pick up a few small things like antenna adapters, USB adapters to maintain my car's USB outlet etc but Crutchfield filled that gap nicely. Easiest install I have ever done. 15 foot SPDIF Optical cable (Amazon) from behind the dash to the JL VX1000/5i Amplifier mounted under the seat. NO ANALOG AUDIO CABLES FR/FL/RR/RL/SUB to run. It was a "Joying" hahaha just to not have to run those, much less the end result of the quietest system I have EVER owned. No hiss, no popping, no ground loop noise spark plug noise or other interference that works its way into analog copper wiring to deal with. when the volume is down the system is DEAD SILENT, and you don't even know it's on.Now for the bad part... it wasn't ALL smooth sailing. Almost immediately my unit started to show a scrambled video display which would require the unit to be rebooted with a hard reboot by sticking a paper clip in the reset hole. This would resolve the issue for a random amount of time. Sometimes only minutes, sometimes for weeks it was ok after a reset. FINALLY it annoyed me to the point that I contacted Joying about the issue. They seemed unaware of the issue, even though I had seen several you tubes and google results of others with the EXACT SAME ISSUE. However I had already had the head unit for a couple weeks more than a year so was technically "out of warranty".Anyway contacted Joying and expected they would tell me I am out of luck, but they were really interested in helping me in resolving my issue. They were very reasonable and offered to replace my screen at no charge if I paid for shipping both ways and returned my original screen so they could diagnose and repair and likely use as a replacement for someone else with this issue. They wanted to charge me US$100 to cover the cost of the screen $60 + shipping $40 (to me) of which I would be credited $60 (reasonable cost for this huge screen) back to my credit card when\if I returned my original screen. I agreed and asked them to also send me a shorter ribbon cable with the screen, as I was concerned the issue could be the ribbon cable itself. They sent the ribbon cable at no extra charge along with the screen. When I received the replacement screen I popped it in place plugged in the original ribbon cable and off I went. I had not returned the other screen yet since I wanted to be sure the problem was resolved. It WASN"T within a week I had the same scrambled picture on the new replacement screen. Decided I would open the unit and replace the longer cable with the shorter cable just to see if it would matter at all.Not much to the inside of the unit, but when I saw the inside of the unit I was a bit shocked. There is a large circuit board module soldered flat against the main circuit board in the center of the unit with edge contacts around all four edges of the module, there was probably 300 edge contacts total that were soldered to corresponding contacts below on the main board with the module circuit board resting flat atop the main circuit board. What shocked me was that this module was obviously hand soldered in, I am guessing due to the design and sandwiched boards it needed to be hand soldered. I was an electronics technician for over 10 years and am very skilled at soldering, even surface mount components and IC's. So the shocking part was that it looked like these 300+ solder joints were made by a drunk 6 year old with a 100 watt soldering gun (yes gun) eeek! I said to myself THAT has got to be the problem! It took every ounce of my being to not fire up the solder station and re-flow these 300+ joints, but decided I was going to do the simple thing first and replace the ribbon cable which was the reason I opened the unit to start. I replaced the cable, put the cover back on and re-installed the unit and I am very happy to say that replacing the ribbon cable with the several inch shorter cable resolved the issue for me. I have not had the issue re occur even one time in over six months at this point. So time to return one of the two screens I no longer need. Welp, $40 USD to ship a good screen back to China... when adding the return shipping cost to the equation I decided the prudent thing would be to not pay an additional 40 + the 100 I already paid and just kept the screen as a replacement just in case I have a problem with one of them down the road, crack, other issue etc.Now that my issue is sorted with the unit I have to say I love this thing, and all it can do, I am however frustrated about one aspect that others have mentioned. Joying locks these things down too much. I get it they want to be sure the average user has a controlled experience, however it seems that they have done things like lock down the Bluetooth so only phones and the Bluetooth accessories they sell you will work. This is a crappy thing to do as Bluetooth is part of the draw to an Android system. As a result the JL Audio Bluetooth adapter for my JL VXi DSP amplifier cannot pair to the unit. It is detected (I believe with an intentionally incorrect name" and the JL Audio software requires the Bluetooth name to be the expected name or the software will not connect with the device. So the downside Is I cannot adjust the DSP features on the JL amplifier with the head unit after spending $100 on the JL Audio Bluetooth adapter which does work on EVERY OTHER Bluetooth enabled tablet Laptop and phone I own.The only other issue is that the built in cell transceiver could be better. I had a difficult time finding a local carrier who's sim card would work in the unit. I have a T-Mobile card in it now that works sometimes. The unit works flawlessly connected to my WiFi hotspot though and one way to get around the challenges of the units cell radio is to use a cheap android cell phone with a cheap sim and hot spot support and just keep an old phone powered up in your glovebox for a wifi hotspot.Overall still very pleased. Initial rating 2 stars, after problem resolution and positive interactions with Joying 4 stars... If they would unlock the unit and/or provide those who desire it unlocked images to download/deploy over the factory Android load it would easily be 5 stars! Now looking to replace my Seicane unit in my other vehicle with one of these.Nick

Excellent quality, excellent customer service
The product is good quality, and their customer service is great. I experienced some difficulties with the installation, but they were very supportive and knowledgeable. Not sure why they do not have so much review, but Highly recommend!
