We got this humidifier for our main living space. The humidifier exceeded our expectations. It's low profile, works very well, quiet, and does a good job dispersing the cool mist in our living room/kitchen. It's very easy to refill and have it working all day without refilling it. It holds quite a bit of water and has the option of using it for aromatherapy.It's convenient to have the remote and be able to set the humidity level and the mist level. You basically have everything you need in this humidifier! 100% recommend if you are looking for a quality humidifier for a larger space.

I shop here a lot, and I usually pick the product with the best and most reviews, but when I was looking for a humidifier, I took the risk on this unit when it had no reviews. I have to say I am happy and impressed.This humidifier is quiet, looks nice, generates a good amount of mist to keep the new England dry winters tolerable. It lasts for two or three days if you keep it on the lowest settings. It also comes with a remote control that allows you to set the mist level, turn UV light on, and set a specific humidity to reach after which the humidifier turns off, then on again after the humidity drops below this level.All in all, I highly recommend this unit!

I have three of these that I bought to replace our previous humidifiers of another brand. I think Crane makes good products and over all I have been very happy. But one of them has just frozen up and the display screen won't acknowledge any touches or turn the machine on. It is outside the return timeline by about a month, so a bit disappointed. In general I really like them, but not excited to replace it so soon.

I bought this humidifier because I had found it on a website recommending it for the UV-C light and a pretty big water tank. The UV-C light never worked. I reached out to Crane about it and I was told "The UV light will never be visible as it is harmful to directly look at. There is a safety feature that shuts the light off when the tank is raised off the base." Except the light should still be visible when the tank is on the base while running and you take the top off to fill it. There was no light what so ever coming through--dark as night. It claims to be able to tell the current humidity level in the room. It was reading 74%-77% in our bedroom prior to running the unit and there was no way our room was that humid. The lowest setting puts out a significant amount of mist for low. It leaked water and also stopped working after 1 night of running.

I've been using this humidifier for a little over 6 months now (almost daily for my office/plant room) and I am very satisfied with my purchase. It's very simple to use (remote), it's whisper quiet, holds lots of water and it is very easy to clean! Highly recommend!

Super quiet and effective. This is worth every penny. I only have to fill it once per day and the remote control is simple to use. Again it is a very good buy.

I definitely do not recommend this model for 500 square foot room. Might be good to raise the humidity in a 100 to 200 square foot room, but by no means anywhere close to 500. Very weak humidification, i have to put a fan next to it to blow the humidified air around the room and it barely does anything regardless. It does however hold quiet a decent amount of water, but if you want to refill the tank it doesnt stand up straight so you kinda have to hold it up while you refill it and then bring it back to the bottom unit. I also dont like the fact that i cannot dime or turn off the led light on the unit, when i go to sleep i prefer to have a completely pitch black room, the LED light at the bottom bothers me so i have to cover it with something, not a big problem, but would be cool to be able to somehow turn it off. Design is okay, although my model looks like the tank was dropped onto the surface of the floor and got scratched up at the factory and they just simple painted it.
