Works well
Before purchase I read the reviews, I think someone said they had trouble fitting it ?So, on delivery I assembled it, took a few seconds, and tried it out on one of my MTB’s and it fit well, I couldn’t see why anyone would have difficulty in attaching the guard. I cleaned and spray oiled my cassette without anything getting onto my disc brakes, so five stars. 👍

Tricky to use
This is a very good idea, but the disc tends to curve inwards due to the bib pocket folds at the bottom. This means that the product want's to catch the chain when being run in reverse. you basically need 3 arms to use it properly.

Does exactly what you need it to do
So pleased i ordered this item it’s so easy to put onto your bike and then the cleaning began.None of the degreaser got pass the guard so protecting the brakes at all times,the chain and cassette once cleaning had finished looked brand new and the Grime Guard was so easy to clean afterwards with just the use of a few wet wipes.Overall good value for money

Tricky to use, but it works
It's a faff to use this in every aspect. Hard to fit, hard to engage the tabs. Hard to stay still when rotating the gear cassette for cleaning.Maybe it's just my (29") wheel and (9sp shimano) gear combo...Its hard to recommend, but I acknowledge that it does work. It keeps the chain cleaner and lubricant away from the brake rotor, and keeps the brake disc cleaner off the gear cassette.Happy? No. But satisfied.It's not like there's a lot of choice on the market, but this design needs refining.
