Diamond of California, Glazed Pecans, 5.5 oz. (Pack of 6)

I bake a lot with pecans... and have tried a variety of brands (Kirkland, Fisher, etc.) and have found this brand to have be the best value of money - it is consistently fresh, which makes a huge difference if you're making toasted pecans since it actually gives it the crunch that makes a world of difference. It may be a tad pricier than the Kirkland brand, but I have experienced issues with Kirkland more than once where the package did not appear to be 100% sealed and the nuts became soft; I have since switched back to Diamond, just because of the quality and its availability (online or in stores).

I order these for my African grey parrot who gets only the best. He prefers pecans to peanuts, which are not really nuts but legumes. It is convenient for me to get our nuts through Amazon. I like these especially because they are packed as people food not bird food, and through Amazon I can get them year around..... However, while I order them for my parrot, I must admit that I have dipped into the supply myself a time or two, and the treat requires reordering before the Christmas rush is on. We also add pecans (and almonds) to our morning granola. Nice crunchy addition. Nuts are good for you.

Thank you for having these available. Unable to buy in the store and these are "Perfect". Freshness dating is over a year, would recommend and will by from supplier again.

I am an avid cook and baker; pecans are a must have staple in my pantry. Diamond Pecans are always fresh and impart a delightfully sweet and nutty taste to my baked goods and my pecan-crusted chicken breasts.The large pecan pieces contained in this bag creates more versatility in your baking and cooking; use the large pieces or chop them smaller. The pecans freeze well if you want to buy a few extra bags to keep on hand. A great Prime Pantry value.

These are my first choice for pecans. They always have minimum sharpness and are on the sweet side for nuts.

these pecans are fine for grocery store packaged pecans. They are good for cooking. I wish they were moister and more flavorful. They are good for the price but not exceptional. Meets expectations but no more. It's very difficult to find very good pecans unless you go to the Carolinas or Geogia. What else can I really say? Diamond products are good for their price.

I eat them by handfuls and cook with them. However I got 1 bag and was charged $12.00? Then I ordered 4 bags and the were damaged so I got no bags. Then I got 3 bags. ??? I'm so confused. However I only eat Diamond Pecans. Have a blessed day 😇

Diamond brand nuts of any kind are always high quality. They are my "go to" item for most of my baking. These pecans are also great toasted as a snack or even candied by themselves.
