Make your own nail decals
The media could not be loaded. Diy nail decal paper is so easy to use! I have a laser printer and the image quality on this is perfect. After I soak it in water for a few seconds it slides right off the backing. 10/10 will definitely order again

4.5 stars for minor issues.
Seriously amazed by these decals. I had zero expectations and now it will completely change the way I build models. Printed in "best" mode on "other matte papers" with my HP and it worked without any need for sealing. Just amazing. The only issue I've had is smaller, angular decals curling at the corners requiring constant babysitting as it dries. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Hobby Decal Softener and Decal Setter if you use them for models - it helped flatten those curling decals out.

Very good results
I make my own decals for my model railroad and my usual supplier of decal sheets is no longer an option. I was glad to find that Koala Paper produced a white, inkjet decal paper that didn't need a spray coating which is exactly what I used to buy from the other supplier. I have printed some decals and they came out very clear and colorful so I am anticipating many more uses of Koala Decal paper.

Curls up and doesn't adhere to ABS
Of the 4 decals I've tried so far, only one has adhered, onto an enamel paint surface. The others, on plastic, including ABS, don't adhere at all. Quite quickly after applying the decal, the corners curl up, and to a lesser extent, the edges as well. A day later, I found the decals applied to plastic could be lifted off the surface with no effort at all.Upon inserting the decal into the water bath, it curls up so you have to hold it flat and under the water. Maybe this is typical for this type of product. It would become problematic if attempting to make a decal larger than a few inches square.I found that it took around 30 - 45 seconds of immersion for the decal to feel as if it was ready to slide off. This doesn't seem like a "little moment", which is the only guidance on the packaging for soak time. If there's an issue with time spent in the water bath adversely affecting adhesion, the supplied directions ought to mention this.I printed the decals in a Samsung M301 laserjet, and found the print quality acceptable.

Do a water test first
I bought this product to personalize coffee mugs for family and friends attending my husband's retirement celebration. So, it was super important to get this right. I didn't want to embarrass or disappoint him with poor results. This was my first time doing a decal project. So, I have no experience with other products in order to provide comparison comments. In regards to my experience with the product, do yourself a favor and do a water submerge test before wasting time, money and effort. The packaging states that the smooth, whiter side of the paper is the waterslide. Nope. I wasted an entire pack of paper before realizing that I had printed on the wrong size. I found that out when I placed the printout in water and the waterslide was white and the print was on the backing :( I purchased more paper and started again. I'm pleased and relieved to say the mugs turned out great! The decal went on fairly easily once I got the hang of it. There was no problem with tearing. I was able to smooth out the decal by gently using a dry paper towel and my fingers. Placing the mugs in the oven as recommended, certainly was good advice. That seemed to seal the decal onto the cup. Now, that I know how to work with this product, I will definitely purchase it again. I gave a 3-star rating because the package instructions cost me a whole pack of paper and delayed completion of my project by two days while I waited for delivery another pack.
