I can't say enough good things about Purigen. I bought some wood that was leaching a lot of tannins and turning my aquarium water yellow. I was dreading the long, tedious process of constantly washing the wood to get rid of it. Works great!! I did a partial water change and added purigen and it took the tannins right out!

I would only use this with atleast 180 micron pouch, or the purigen will leak into your water. Other than that clarity is good aside from the purigen pellets leaking inside the tank. Please make them a tad bit bigger. Thanks Seachem.

The media could not be loaded. Purigen is amazing. I added it to my aquarium filter and noticed a difference within a couple of days. The water is way clearer, and it helps keep everything balanced. My fish and plants look healthier too. Super easy to use and lasts a long time. Definitely worth it if you want clean, clear water without a lot of hassle.
