Maybe there are many who have become frustrated with the selection of erasers found in your typical box store. This is a product that has a huge range of quality, and cheaper versions tend to have texture issues (usually too hard for artist grade and quality paper or they tend to smudge the surface. Fortunately neither of these issues are present with the Saedtler mars plastic eraser. They are a quality product with the propper softness, no smudging and a decent size. The price point also makes it a good value.

These erasers are the best! I use a mechanical pencil at work to take notes on our backup files, and when using the pencil's eraser it keeps falling off. These work so well!

I recently bought this eraser and have been pretty satisfied. It removes pencil marks cleanly without leaving behind much residue or smudging the paper, which is a huge plus. It’s especially great for sketches and notes where neatness matters. The texture is firm but not too hard, making it easy to control. One small downside is that it wears down a bit quickly with frequent use, so I might go through it faster than expected. Still, the performance makes it worth it. It’s compact, effective, and great for school, office, or art use. I’d purchase it again!

LOVE these erasers. Does not destroy paper when erasing and does not smudge. Will never use another brand or a built-in pencil eraser again.

These are my go to erasers. My son uses them for school and lives how well they erase. They also seem to last him.
