J wished that I had used this before trying to polish my headlights after sanding off the ancient clear coat. I use it on my mom’s far less cloudy ones and the results were amazing. The road was a bit brighter! The process is so painless that I wouldn’t have melted my headlights with a buffer that was awkward whilst trying to not mess with the paint. I will however be using this on my real cloudy fog lights. It is essentially apply/bluff with not a lot of elbow grease to polish/wipe off the residual. A little bit goes a long way (I just pot that song in my head!).

My headlights were only slightly discolored. I rubbed this on and removed and it cleared them up.

They looked great at first but when I looked the next day, still hazy. I have been using it every few days now to see if it clears the lenses.Easy to put on and take off. The directions didn't really state how long to do each step. Maybe I needed to leave on longer.

I was worried my car might be too old and my headlights too yellowed for this to really be effective. I was amazed with the results! The kit was easy to use and did what it says it will do. You need a power drill, spray bottle, and some blue painters tape to tape around the headlight so you don't mar the paint or trim. Just buff each headlight using the three progressively finer sanding pads, then finish with the polishing compound and protectant. The whole process took me about an hour, and I was probably a lot more thorough than I needed to be.As my pictures show, my headlights went from very cloudy to clear and sharp! What's even better, my headlights are noticeably brighter at night.

Used for first time because the lenses on my headlights was getting cloudy. Followed instructions and it worked perfectly and quickly. It does what it says it does. Good product

My headlights haven’t been cleaned in years so I figured I would try this and it took some of the coating off but it was still foggy. I scrubbed both headlights multiple times for about an hr. Blew my mind that it was still foggy cos I thought I was really scrubbing that stuff off with my cloth. 🤣 I gave it two stars because it did get some of it off.I saw another person that reviewed this and said that he did professional headlight restoration and that the best way to sand it off. He was right! I went to Harbor Freight and got their headlight restoration kit for $14 and it included 3 different types of sandpaper, polishing disk and polisher. Attach the sanding tool to your power drill and you are ready to go! Four steps and an hour and half hour later, my headlights look brand new! Saved me lots of money from having a professional do it. So don’t waste your money on this if your headlights are really bad off, go to the Harbor Freight and get their kit instead! Thank me later!

Not perfect but worked VERY well on dull, 19 year old plastic Toyota headlights. Would def buy again.

Había visto algunos videos para restaurar mis faros. Particularmente, porque uno de ellos se reemplazó y era muy notoria la opacidad que tenía el faro originla, después de 10 años de uso. Con solo unos minutos de pulir con el RAIN-X, el faro quedo como nuevo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Just did my headlights, they were foggy and discoloured, now the look brand new, very easy to use, instructions were great!

Good product

It works.For steps 1-3 fairly easy to do all by hand with a bit of elbow grease.For step 4 and to really get the clear headlights, I used main powered hand buffer at a low setting.In all, quite pleased with the result.
