They are very flat, like a piece of felt you'd buy at a craft store. Maybe1-2 cm or 1/20th of an inch thick.

Q: I just want to use these under decorative items on a table top. Are they small enough to go under a vase or figurine to prevent scratching a table ?

Yes they are very small I use them for pupils for puppet eyes

The smaller ones are thinner than a quarter. The larger ones are closer in size to the thickness of a quarter.
