I wanted to include a space in the drop down inner sponge for storing an extra non-free state capacity magazine (7-10) in addition to the pistol, and was somewhat successful. With my cut I should be ableto do a 10-capacity. (Shown is 7 and 8).Sponge is removable by pinching and pulling from front or back.Using a sharpie, box cutter razor tip, and a longer serrated (steak knife with serration to the tip), I was sloppy successful in the cutting and tearing ripped sponge to open up a parallel slot adjacent (albeit somewhat too close to trigger guard) .I did cut all the way through top to bottom following my sharpie guidelines then plugged the bottom with a couple inches from the removed sponge.Manufacturer could improve offering by cutting an additional slot, then letting user remove the precut depending on his or hers pistol and magazine capacity.Battery compartment access requires smaller hands, do program multiple variations of same finger tip for more recognized scans and opening success.It would have also been nice of some ability to back mount instead of side only.I would but another one as nice design and works as expected.

I bought one and it worked so well that I turned around and bought two more for gifts.

I like the product overall. The digital combo works every time. The biometric, not so much so I don't use it. The mounting apparatus is large if you only want a side mount. I intend to cut mine so the top portion doesn't stick out. It's pretty ugly if you side mount this to a nightstand and not under a desk. The top bracket just stands out.Overall, I like it very much functionally for the money and would buy it again.

It's nice to be able to keep a gun beside the bed without having to move it every morning so it's secure while the kids are home without us. Easy to open with code or biometrics. 2 of us have our fingerprints in without any issues. Nice to have the code as backup just in case it ever doesn't work.With 45, we do have to keep the clip on the nightstand because it doesn't fit inside right.

It arrived undamaged, the instructions were very simple and set up was a breeze. Installing it was fairly simple but depending on what material you are installing onto, the hardware will need to be swapped out. The screws were only for wood, installing on a wall will require longer screws and anchors. So far, it works as advertised, looking to see how long the batteries will last.

It arrived on time and was easy to install. It works perfect using the code and is fairly fast. My problem has been with the biometrics (fingerprints), I have added my thumb and forefinger several different angles of the same finger. It works for a few days, then just kind of forgets the fingerprints. I'm getting by with just the code now and it's ok, just not what I was expecting.
