Rapide Auto Extreme Tar, Bug & Dirt Remover 720ml

Really impressed with the Rapide Auto Extreme Tar, Bug & Dirt Remover. It made light work of tough tar spots and bug splatters, and it didn’t harm the paint at all. Easy to use, works fast, and the 720ml size gives great value. Definitely a must-have for keeping your car looking clean and fresh!

It performs ok, I've used better brands at bigger prices that perform better. But at this price point it's ok. Removes most of bugs but if the bug is well dried on it needs a hard rub.

Absolutely useless doesn’t remove tar joke

Really easy to use and gives lasting results

I bought this product specifically to tackle tar spots. Any supposed ability to remove insects and or Glue has not been measured. I followed the instructions and applied this to a freshly washed and dried car. I gave the product the recommended working time but found it had had no effect on the tar spots. I applied the product a second time and allowed it to work, I still could not see any effect. I even agitated the product with a detailing brush to help it along, unfortunately there were no visible effects on the tar spots at all. Resorting to removing the tar through the use of a clay bar, I found that the tar treated with this product was just as hard to remove as the untreated spots. The only caveat I can offer is that I cannot say how long the tar has been bonded to the paintwork, it could have been weeks or possibly years, I simply do not know. For tar spots I would not recommend. The bottle and trigger worked worked well and they are the reason for the two stars.

Excellent product for getting rid of stubborn items off the road . Very good for brake dust and along the sills.
