Ever Ready First Aid Triangular Bandage, 40" x 40" x 56", 12 Count- 100% Cotton

Went in my first aid kit.

I actually had to use one of these recently and they're great! They're lightweight and large enough to fit me, even though I'm a large person. I used it as a sling, but I would suggest only using it until you can get a proper sling. It's not super comfortable, but it's better than an unsupported arm.

These are decent triangular bandages, at a good price. They are 100% cotton and are somewhat thin, but seem to work well. They are versatile, and could be used in a variety of ways, as the Amazon description illustrates. They would be a good addition to first aid kits. I’d check with a doctor or physical therapist to see if they would be recommended for your particular issue, as a longer-term solution. Just for example, using them as an arm sling might put pressure on your neck and shoulders, which may or may not compound an issue you are having.

I not only use these at every first aid class that I teach, I find they are so valuable in a first aid kit that I give one to each student to take home and put in their personal kit. They have many uses other than just a triangle bandage and I teach each of the uses at my classes. I have ordered hundreds over the years and will continue to do so.

I'm very happy with this product, received from BP Medical and made in China for Ever Ready First Aid.The package contained 12 individually/neatly-wrapped triangular bandages, each with two safety pins. The bandages were 100% cotton, as advertised -- not some papery junk -- and were of a closely-woven muslin. The advertised size of each is 40" x 40" x 56", and those I measured were in the 37-38 x 37-38 x 60-plus range ... which is fine, given the uses for this type of bandage (a/k/a a cravat).In short -- a simple, useful and well-made product.
