Bug Zapper That Packs a Punch!
I’m super impressed with this outdoor bug zapper! It’s been a game-changer for my backyard barbecues. The 4200V grid zaps mosquitoes, flies, and moths on contact, clearing out pests so I can enjoy evenings without swatting. It covers a solid 1500 square feet, perfect for my patio, and the ABS plastic housing feels durable and safe, even around my dog. Setup was a cinch—just plug it into a 3-prong outlet and hang it with the included ring. The 4.9-foot cord gives nice placement flexibility. Cleaning the tray is easy with the brush provided, and it’s been working like a charm for weeks. Great value for a pest-free summer

Works well at a good price
I have two of these, one outside on the patio, and one in the living room. It is great at killing the pesky mosquitoes that tailgate when going in and out to the patio, as I'm grilling dinner. It gives me great satisfaction to hear the zap when that little devil is fried.

worked well, but returned for a battery powered zapper
We really liked this hanging bug zapper—it’s well-made, easy to hang from a hook or tree branch, and definitely effective at attracting and eliminating flying insects. The light is strong enough to cover a decent area of our patio, and we noticed a significant drop in mosquito activity after just one evening of use. It’s also easy to clean, which we appreciated. That said, we ultimately decided to go with a battery-powered version instead, just for more flexibility in placement (especially when we're out camping or don’t have an outlet nearby). But if you’re looking for a plug-in option for a porch, deck, or yard with access to power, this is a solid choice—quiet, efficient, and simple to use. We’d still recommend it for anyone looking to keep bugs at bay in a fixed location.

Hangs low
The instructions say to hang the device 6-8 feet from the ground, yet the cord is only about 4 feet long? And right out of the box, the "convenient hanging hoop" fell onto the floor. For now, it's sitting on a table on our deck and the bugs are getting zapped.Just know that you may not be able to hang it up without using an extension cord.
