We have struggled with a weak wifi signal at the rear of our home for several years. I have tried the XPods and another extender type device with no luck. Lagging streaming television and weak wifi on cell phones at the further most point from our router were a constant issue until I purchased this device. My intention was to try the TP-Link AC 1900 as a wireless extender first to see if I could get the signal to improve. Setup was fairly easy after I downloaded the app and followed the guidance. This device feels well constructed and booted up quickly. Once I got it up and running, I checked the download speeds in the dead spots of my home and it did boost them... not significantly but a noticeable boost. Basically, from 1-2 Mbps to 12-15Mbps. I then decided to use the AC1900 as an access point due to the fact that it has an ethernet port. Once I figured out how to change the settings to access point, I plugged it in to a hard line that I had run prior at the rear of the house and then checked the speeds again. To my delight, the speeds were now in the 300-400 Mbps range repeatedly. This was a huge win for us as we have struggled with low internet speeds in portions of our home for years. Setup was a little confusing as I had to figure out how to name the network and set passwords so that we could access it. After reading some additional info and watching a few youtube videos, I was able to get it all up and running.The nice part was that I was able to name the new network the same as our existing network with the suffix ext to identify that it is the extended network. Same password and for the most part, our phones would recognize the stronger signal and switch almost automatically. Our streaming TV's and my son's headset gaming system are now booming with wifi thanks to the TP-Link Extender. I believe this is a real upgrade and solution to low wifi signals in the home. Well worth the modest investment for the increased speed and reliability of you home network.

I chose this because I have a tp-link router so I figured it would be easy for them to link up. It was! Super easy and simple setup: just download the app, turn on the extender and let it sync up, then go plug it in wherever you need the coverage. It will tell you where the signal is best so you can find the optimal spot. I now have full-strength wi-fi throughout the house! Highly recommended.

It extended my Wi-Fi to reach an unattached garage at my house. I had to put it in my bedroom where the light is disturbing to my sleep. I blocked the light with furniture and a pillow.

This extender works great! Recently my internet was changed to optic fiber so it would be faster on my old extender would drop out everyday when it got changed sometimes twice a day . So I got this one because it recommended as one of the top 10. It was very easy to hook up and the phone app works great . The light can be very bright at night but has a on off switch . You can also use the app to turn it on and off . It also extends all the way into the garage. I have had not problems.

I have a ATT BGW320-505 in the house, 1st floor, on a shelf in the laundry closet. The range reached to my detached garage, about 20 yards away from the house barely (poor connection). Followed the directions, uploaded the app to my iPhone, performed the basic setup for both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz near the router. Moved TP-Link to garage, plugged it in, and it worked perfectly with all bars! Expected to wrestle with the product but it worked flawlessly - easiest extender I've worked with and with ATT wanting $10/month for an extender, this will pay for itself after 5 months. I've always had good results with TP-Link and Belkin products. Decided to buy this product after trying to get my older extenders to work with ATT and decided to quit buying network stuff to get the old stuff to work, if they would work!

his WiFi extender worked great for our home! It boosted the signal so well that now we have strong WiFi coverage on all three floors. We haven't noticed any buffering issues and have had it installed for over 6 months. Installation and setup were easy—just plug it into a standard outlet and follow simple instructions.I also appreciate the sleek, compact design. It’s aesthetically pleasing and hardly noticeable plugged in, which is a nice bonus compared to bulky alternatives.Good value for the money. really good product, does exactly what is advertised. increased range in areas far from main router. also supports same SSID As primary one. totally worth the price and no connectivity or buffering issues seen, seamless transitions between main router and extender. would definitely recommend it.

Stylish, good name, fair price, Quick delivery.Recommend watching a couple Youtube Videos, It took me two tries to link both bands to my Router (dual Band).Key: Plug in next to your Router & do the steps TWICE till all lights illuminate for the 2.4 & 5ghz.Not sure if it really helped as speed seems the same...?
