My main concern was the top rolling down and I even chatted with someone on the Spanx website who said that if you are in between sizes then sizing up will help prevent rolling. Even though I am losing weight, I went ahead and got the larger size. Trying it on and walking around my house I was disappointed at first because it immediately started rolling down. Loved it everywhere else so I decided to wear to work the next day with the straps to hold the top in place (pro tip: don’t try to figure out the straps when you are already running late! Took me a good five minutes searching for the second strap I swear I just had before I realized they were hooked together). Not sure if it just needed a stretching from the initial try on or if the straps did anything, but I had almost no rolling of the band wearing these for over 10 hours! I didn’t have that tummy sauna/sausage casing feeling like with cheaper brands. I am a little wary of using the opening - I got the nude color and they are almost see-through. One thing that is nice about the shorts style shapewear is that your rear end is covered in a dress - it looks like they mean for you to wear these without underwear but with the transparency and the big hole, I felt it was too risky.I was hesitant to buy these because of the expense, but then I realized that I had 3 $20 ones to return that just didn’t work for me despite rave reviews. I learned a lesson in buying quality here.I think the style is good for those with long torsos - they went all the way up without any issue and I’m normally fighting the highwaisted styles to get them in place. For reference, I’m 5’9” 180lbs size 12/14, pear shaped and I bought large.

They hold it ALL in and keep you smooth. Best worn for an event - not all day. It can get very uncomfortable after many many hours.

I think this is a great product. It does fit like a tight hug with high compression in the belly but at the same time it's completely comfortable so you can wear it all day long. This shapewear actually does what it says it does. The fit is true to size so check the size chart before buying. The reason why I'm leaving 4 stars and not 5 is that the leg part does roll a bit so I had to adjust it throughout the day. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. It's definitely high quality material. I have bought many other belly bands and this one is by far the best. The higher price is justified since it's definitely a superior product.

I ordered my size, but it runs really small. I couldn’t even get it past my knees. It almost feels like it’s missized. I feel I need to order two sizes up to be able to put it on.

Disappointing Quality and Performance!Do Not Waste Your Time or MoneyPoorly constructed with cheap materials. The fabric offered no grip around the leg area, stretched out quickly, and provided virtually no support. Does NOT stay in place, rolls around.. Not suitable for wear under clothing or for any practical use.

I absolutely loved this body shaper! It is definitely worth the investment. It really hugged me in all the right areas. I decided to size up; I usually wear a 2x, but the 3x fit perfectly.

Will wear endlessly. Bought for under a wedding guest dress, I am 4 months postpartum and they made me feel so much more confident. Held me in, comfortable, hard to get on but worth it

I've used this model of Spanx for several years now. They remain a staple for shapewear and double as anti-chafing shorts. I never wear a dress without them.
