Second time buying this.Birds realy avoid this.

I have several small apple trees (5-8’ tall) in a cluster, starting to produce. Last year sparrows, who use the clump of trees as a staging area between the bird feeder and a woodlot, picked and damaged almost every apple (several dozen).I bought the tape in late summer as apples began to color, cut 2-foot sections of it, and tied one end to exposed/protruding branches about every three feet, all around the clump.These tags move in the slightest brees. No bords for maybe 3 weeks, then a slow return. Ut they dont stay. I think the flash bothers them. This year I got about 3/4 of my apples without pecks. Not perfect but certainly helpful.

This works great to keep the birds away from our newly planted garden.

We have very aggressive, Nasty, evil magpies that destroy everything in our garden, mostly the berries and apples, but anything red. They pecked holes in peppers. They even destroy our apples through mesh bags! We've tried everything including hanging CD disks, bird netting, etc. They are so smart, they don't come around when the sun is shining they wait till close to dusk to do their damage. This ribbon is the only thing that keeps them away. I believe it is the rattling sound along with the reflection. It's a constant battle but I believe this ribbon is the only way To keep them off of our Apple trees. I bought a ton of it. By the way, we had to build cages around everything else with bird netting, and so forth and it's a lot of work. This ribbon makes life a little easier.

I ordered four sets of spike strips each one included three tubes of glue. All twelve tubes of glue were dried up and not useable. I had to spend an additional $55.00 on exterior adhesive to attach the strips.

Didn't keep ducks or geese away from our dock area (dock or grassy areas). Colors are pretty when the sun shines on it, but other than that... did not work.

It may work for others, but against a possessed mockingbird and a mentally handicapped sandhill crane - this tape was useless.I went with inflatable decorations to scare the idiot sandhill crane away from the windows. And I'm pretty sure Satan took his mockingbird back or it finally attacked a window that attacked back.Good luck.
