Simple and effective
I bought this for a 100 year old guy who went blind in his old age, but likes to know what time it is. For him, this thing is perfect.He lives at a nursing home, and the stupid temps they keep hiring, knock his prior talking clocks off the rolling bedside table routinely. When the last one I gave him was thrown to the floor and destroyed by some anonymous inconsiderate fool, we got him one of these. This one will probably be destroyed by the idiots who work there as well, but for the time being he loves it, and it does the job. The date feature was actually a surprising bonus that I didn’t even realize this had until I got it and started setting it up.

Easy to set
Was a little hard for my mom to push I think in time it will loosen up

will not set time and date
very difficult to set up. just keeps beeping at me. will not announce "set time, minute, month or date". this is my 2nd one not working correctly. directions are easy to follow but he just won't talk to me. will be sending back
