I purchased a bunch of these along with angle pieces and flanges. I had a brain storm to build some pantry shelves for my wife in a little nook that we had. I spend weeks trying to figure out how to turn that nook into a small pantry and then I saw an idea on Pintrest where someone made shelves from a bunch of this black pipe. So, I designed what I needed and ordered all the pieces. I was very impressed with the product and the price. I turned the nook into a great little pantry with a lot of shelves and my wife loves the extra pantry space. Really great idea and it worked great.

I bought these to use for a thingiverse sanlaki stock for my oculus controllers. They're slightly longer than the ones the stock was originally designed for. I had to print a couple of quick spacers to take up the gap. It's not their fault, but if that's what you're buying these for be aware of that.

Like everyone else has said, these are not rated for plumbing use, but they do a great job for shelving. I had no problem with mismatched threading and they arrived clean and free of marks or burrs. These are significantly less expensive than pipe purchased in a hardware store. And I liked the contrast between the black pipe and the grey elbows and flanges.

These are intended for cosmetic builds, not water lines. They are lightweight and easy to install. No issues with the threads or paint. Highly recommend. They come well packaged too.

Be aware that if you are using these for a lamp, as I was, they are very sharp inside on the ends. Took a LOT of work with a file and grinder to remove it so as not to cut into the wiring. Of course this isn’t a concern if they are used in a structural role.

Quality product and a great price

These are great I purchased the 10” long threaded rods , the threaded caps and the threaded wall mount to make a shelf holder. Great condition, everything went together with zero problems and I would highly recommend these for anyone , will be getting more I saved 65% ver a local builder supply store or hardware store . I purchased enough to make 30 rods
