Great one step stool
I'm so thrilled to have this little one step stool! My good arm is fractured so am struggling a lot more in reaching things. My other 3 step ladder is now too heavy to use a lot as it's hard to control with one arm. This little stool is perfect... it's just high enough to make the top shelves in my closet, kitchen and bathroom accessible enough to make a huge difference. All the other one steps are 8 inches or less... this step is 10 inches from the floor, and those 2 extra inches make a big difference. The dimension of the actual step platform is 12 inches wide, and 8 inches deep. It feels sturdy enough, and I don't miss having a higher bar around it to lean against, because at that just one step level, there are other things to hold onto when stepping up onto it. It's so light, so is very easy to move around with one hand, and store anywhere, right now I'm just leaving it out as I'm using it so often. I can even stick it in my closet over the shoes on the floor without folding it up since I'm using it so much. I decided it's better to not have a higher bar surrounding it so it can also be used to sit on when I need to reach lower things more comfortably. I'm even thinking of using it as an exercise device, putting it near a wall to hold onto while stepping up and down. The stickers are annoying, but on one side they are not "as" visible... it's such a litigious society, Cosco probably intentionally made them difficult to remove in case someone falls and tries to sue them. Anyway for my purposes it is fantastic to have this little one step, I'm sure I will continue using it after my arm heals, as it's so easy to use for so many things, rather than pulling out the heavier ladders. Highly recommend it!

Solid yes
Very handy step stool to tuck away when you don’t want to drag out a larger one. Feels sturdy. Just make sure the height it provides is sufficient for your needs. Have been happy with the purchase.

Do you care if it's really ugly?
Because I did care and it took me 2 days of scrubbing to get those stickers off. I can understand a warning sticker on a stool but this thing is absolutely plastered with needless stickers that say things like, Not for Commercial Use in multiple languages. Maybe it needs those when sold but they should be removable, afterwards. This is a 9" step, not a 6' ladder! But, it's very sturdy, easy to fold, and much better quality than those cute colored foldable ones I tried first. So I do recommend it.

So lightweight, I love it!
I love this little mini stand! It's super lightweight, folds up and has a mini latch to unfold, and its the perfect height. I have been looking for something to put in the bathroom for the kids to brush their teeth and wash their hands, this is hands down the best one I've seen! Very cute, color is great, and folds up nicely without me stubbing my toe every time I go in the bathroom like our old one!

Sturdy and easy to store
This little step folds up easily and compactly. I use it in my sewing room to reach things up high. I think I am going to get another one to keep in my walk-in closet. It’s very handy and cheap.

I love this step-stool. You CAN get the tags off
I really love this stool. It's very handy in the kitchen. It's strong and steady. It folds up easily and stows flat. I notice many people complaining about the excessive warning stickers literally coating all four legs. But you can get them off with very little elbow grease. Take some sandpaper and ruff them up a bit. Get the shiny part of the labels off. Then take "Goo Gone" on a paper towel and get the labels really soaked. Then take the sandpaper and sand the now wet labels. Then more "Goo Gone" on a paper towel. Rub the labels with the soaked paper towel and it peels right off. Then wash the stool with dish soap because it will be all oily.

Very handy and easy to store
Purchased the 1-step for my toddler to use as her step stool for the bathroom and to reach the sink. Although the step is taller than the 2-step stools made for toddlers, it isn't much taller. My petite toddler can easily climb up and down. Unlike the toddler step stool, which are bulky, these step stools fold down flat and can be stored in the vanity. AND once my toddler no longer needs a step stool for the bathroom or sink, I can continue to use these around the house to reach high shelves or change light bulbs, etc.

works exactly as I expected, plus it is easy to open and close
I have the one-step stool. I have containers of beauty products stacked so high on a closet shelf that I cannot easily reach the top row of items. I started looking at the round library stools but they were more than I wanted to spend. But this turned up among related items in a search and it seemed like it would do the trick. As others have noted, this is plastered with warning stickers. I think there are more warning stickers than on a three-step ladder I have. It is a little excessive. I am not rating based on that since this is for use in my bedroom closet where no one else will see it. But if aesthetics are a concern, keep that in mind. This is very easy to operate right out of the box. It opens and attaches to the frame securely and I like that the top step here is one piece (there are some folding stools with top steps that are hinged in the middle and I don't feel those are as secure based on past experience). It is also easy to collapse the stool.I do not know the maximum weight this would support. It is sufficient for an adult around or under 150 pounds, for sure. This is lightweight and, when collapsed, doesn't take up much space. It is working exactly as intended and it is easy to open and close so I am happy.
