Fog Light Wiring Harness Kit Replacement for Chevy Silverado 1500 2500 2003-2006 (2007 Classic)

Adds to the clean factory look I was going for. Added fog lights to my 2005 Chevy Silverado and this harness worked out perfectly. No splicing required and was able to include in my factory fuse box under the hood. More than enough length to run and tuck properly.

My harness fit perfectly. The pin on the red wire fit fine and didn’t need to be “opened up” to fit. Ease of install if you have wiring knowledge was a snap. Start at your fuse box with the red wire and then to the fog lights. You can pull the ground wire out of the loom and shorten it then attach it where your headlights ground to the frame horn. This is a quality product that I would order again if needed. Great value for the money and the appearance and performance is as close to OEM as anyone could ask for.

other than the wire being to short easy to do

This is supposed to come with the fog lights as a set. I was charged for the fog lights and seperatly for this. And this is not for my 03 Silverado SS. Hopefully, when I return they will rectify and credit. I want to believe this was a oversight. Double check to make sure what you buy is for your exact vehicle. And don't depend what the garage on Amazon says. It said it fit my truck. It didn't. Just a huge waste of my time. Returning tomorrow. 2nd time I bought something that Amazon garage said fit my specific truck. Do your homework folks before you buy. I'm sure this works good just not on my truck.

had to rewire the grounds and route it differently, nothing heat shrink tubing and solder couldnt fix

I think it is a great price, especially for the price, but there is one thing you need to know. I would give it 5 stars, but hear me out.I bought this unit to add fog lights to my 2006 Colorado, which works for that. However, the issue lies with retention clips that hold in the light bulbs as they are INCREDIBILY RIDGID and is next to IMPOSSIBLE to remove the bulb from the harness without breaking them, I am a skilled DIYer and I spent 10 minutes trying to remove the bulb (that I tested fitted but planned not to install in my truck) from the harness carefully, and I ended up breaking one side of the retention clips so I just went ahead and broke the other side to get the bulb out. Just imagine over time when this harness is installed and you need to get down on your back on the ground to get under the truck to change the bulb, you better know how to solder and buy some pigtails, or have some other trick up your sleeve (like zipties), as I am 99.9% sure you are going to break those retention clips, see the photo I attached to my review.Otherwise, this is just what I am looking for, and the price is right.

It is a really good replacement harness and it plugged in to the original spot in the fuse box like factory. Hard to beat this for the price. Watch a YouTube video before you start the project. Factory style fog lamp Harness

VIN T perfect length and value for your money, I just installed it to my FOG lights upgrade to the fuse box, clean looking OEM install no splicing or cutting wires, etc.Update the PIN on the end of the positive wire (red) is too small for my OEM fuse block. This is what is needed to complete the installation "Metri-Pack 280 Series Female Terminal Gauge Size, 10-12 GA"
