sizing of the window exhaust kit
this is a nice unit for the cost. it keeps my motorcoach nice and cool and is very quiet. I would offer the different window kits as an option during checkout so that you could get the right one for your needs. i had to change my installation because the standard kit was not going to work with my installation. other than that I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it.

GODSEND
this thing WORKS! my apartment AC doesnt reach my room so i desperately needed something small and efficient. this is perfect. honestly if they made smaller ones maaaybe i wouldve swapped since theyre so powerful. its kinda loud too but since its strong, i dont need to run it very long. the window tube thing is kinda hard to install and not very sturdy. it comes with sticky foam strips and i used ALL of them, but theyre barely hanging on. if i ever want to move the unit i'll need some other way to keep the panel and tube sturdy.

Florida heat? Not in my room
So here’s the deal: my family refuses to set the thermostat any higher or lower than 74 degrees—ever. And if you live in Florida, you already know that 74 just doesn’t cut it. It stays hot pretty much all year. On top of that, my bedroom (which is on the smaller side) is somehow the only room in the house that stays warm no matter what time of day it is.I finally decided to grab this AC unit for myself, and let me tell y’all—it’s brick in here now, LOL. I’ve only had it for about 24 hours, but I’m already obsessed. My room stays cold, and it actually feels refreshing to be in here for once. The ventilation hose is a little bulky—I do wish it was smaller—but it’s not a dealbreaker. Also, if your window is small like mine, be prepared to cut the plastic window insert it comes with. It’s thick, so good luck if you don’t have the right tools.Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re dealing with heat in just one room. Total game changer.

works perfect
i used this for a summer in a basement apartment in chicago and had 0 complaints. easy to set up, heavy ofc but i am a 5’2 female that didnt have help bringing it in. BUT very easy to move around after its out of the box. super durable, i had it for 2 apartment units and it worked well in both. air flow was constant and cold. not sure about energy efficiency but i never saw an impact on my electric bill if that means anything to you.

Works really well!
Works great and has all the features I care for. Blades swing up and down to better airflow. Gets really cold. Fan works almost as good on a cool night as the AC. Remote isn't anything special but works fine and changes all the settings. Glad I purchased this just in time for summer

Quit working after two summers
We are in Atlanta and have hot summers and a split level house where the upstairs is about 7-10 degrees warmer than the downstairs in the afternoons. We bought this in July of 2023 and it did great for the first two summers to cool our upstairs bedroom, but this season when we put it back in the room, it doesn’t cool anymore. We have done all the troubleshooting steps with cleaning filters and checking for drainage etc to no avail. We still have an older 2014 model Shinco with knobs instead of a digital control panel in another room, and it has been working for 11 years so I was sad to see this newer one didn’t seem to hold up as well.Other features of the unit were fine, noise was variable depending on the speed settings, and the panel wasn’t too bright. We did have some trouble getting the vent hose to stay connected to the unit and needed to tape it to ensure it stayed connected.

Sizing of sealing panel
It get very cold only problem is the sealing panel was to long so I used one piece then rest I added like 2 pieces of thick cardboard and I put installation tape on everything so it was fine I guess my windows was to small I could of used wood but the thick cardboard work well you can even use the white foam to put it in
