This composition book has been perfect for my son’s dictation work! The lines are spaced just right for early writers, and there are plenty of pages — we used it all school year and still have space left. Great quality and layout for kindergarten or first grade!

Bought these for a friends son, these were sold out everywhere else in the stores and I found them here on Amazon, and they were a reasonable price!

Love these books for practicing good penmanship for young writers

My 1st - 3rd grade students are using these composition books this year to record their independent language work. They are so much more successful with these books with the primary lines when contrasted with prior years when they used a traditional composition book. It is easy for them to see the lines and the line spacing is appropriate for most. They are more confident because they can be more organized. Because there are fewer lines they need to write on, the work becomes less overwhelming. The 4 star rating is because I have already had to tape the black binding back onto the composition book for two students after less than 4 weeks...disappointed in that...it is something I don't ever remember doing for a composition book before. I still highly recommend the books, just realize you might have to reinforce with packing tape.
