I bought this for my mom (she's 82), and kept one for myself. She has trouble holding onto the metal ones, and they were too big for her. This was perfect! It's light weight even with noodles in it. She can lift it by herself, which is good since she lives alone. It's easy to clean, and flattens for storage. I also love it! No more steam burns!! Great product!!

I use this to rinse fruit. No matter how much I shake, rattle, and roll it, I can't rid it of a small amount of water. This prevents me from just pouring the fruit into a bowl, as some water will be poured with it. Probably not a problem for pasta and other types of food. But otherwise, a useful and quality product.

Silicone is good. Very comfortable won't slip out. Lightweight, can be hang on the hook on the suction cup. I am very happy with the purchase.

So far this product meets my expectations. It's actually better than I thought it would be. I've used it about a dozen times so far and it does everything I need. I can't really speak to the sturdiness or durability other than to say it hasn't broken yet....but if it lasts less than 5 years I will consider it a bad buy...it's not like this product has to do a whole lot.

I’ve been using these for a few weeks now and I love them. They collapse flat and are easy to store, and can take a decent amount of pasta or other food dumped into them to be strained. So far they’ve held up well and seem to be a great product.

Had no problem straining a pound of ground beef with them, but I encountered a major issue when I tried to strain a pot of pasta with it. Simply put, the water didn't strain right through as soon as I dumped it in, causing the strainer to flood and slowly drain out. Had to slowly dump little bits of boiling water at a time just to strain my pasta. So it's fine for things that don't have THAT much liquid, but useless for a regular saucepan of water.

Would have liked to see a large one and this one together and not two that are the same size. My fault for not reading the details close enough. These are very nice and collapsible which is a very nice feature.

Overall I'm not completely disappointed by this as I only bought it as a spare for camping, so it serves it's purpose for saving space and being lightweight. My main bug-bare is that, as it is silicon and doesn't have side holes, the drainage is somewhat lacking. It does work but it very slow and requires a bit of a shake to make sure there's not a pool of water at the bottom. Ultimately it serves a purpose and does it's job, just not well.

I bought a similar folding/collapsible colander before which lasted a couple of years, but this one has split along one of the folds after only a few weeks. I'm going back to the traditional metal colander.

I bought these to replace one I’d had for a number of years. However when they arrived it was obvious they are half the size standard of a normal colander. I returned them and was immediately refunded.

This is a great space saving design. The strainer is easy to use, sturdy and lightweight.

Folds away in the drawer. Easy to push out sturdy to use, easy to clean and takes up very little space
