Simple to put together. Allows my cats to go through but not my German Shepherd puppy.

Works great with close cameras over 25 feet not in direct line of site distance loses signal. Over all happy would like the distance in future models boosted.

Up front: We have two medium to large dogs: both lab-chow mix, brother and sister, Ike (53lbs) and Tina (45lbs)Pros: Installs in minutes, is fairly attractiveCons: Since this is designed for larger pets, it needs a closing mechanism at the bottom of the walk thru gate portion.The opening mechanism is very difficult operate/figure out.I would gladly do without the small pet door and have an additional lock at the bottom. This gate would not withstand a large dog jumping against it, much less two or more. Ours would only do that if encouraged. I would gladly pay twice for heavier construction and the additional It was the only one that is not an accordion style gate and it does not have to be screwed to the wall.We are using this at the top of the steps on our master bedroom porch. We have a kennel on the far side, but our dogs will bark often when left there during the night. While this is Texas, and many of our neighbors have dogs that bark, they are usually in during the night. While no one has complained or sicked animal patrol or police on us, we did not want to keep pushing the envelope. When they are on the porch outside our bedroom, they are contend that they are fairly near to us and don't bark. During the daytime, if we have any workers in the yard, we can put the dogs on the porch or to get them out of the blazing sun (there is little shade in the kennel as the El Paso winds tore our beautiful shade cloth to shreds shortly after we installed it). The exterior of our house is stucco and we don't want to drill any holes if we can help it. The width of the opening is 51" and after assembling the three panels, I simply inserted and tightened the screws with the pads at the end until the whole gate was snug in the opening. It does come with four cups that you can fasten to the wall to insert the pads into. The manufacturer recommends using these if you are installing across the full 52'. Since we don't want any screws in our stucco.wall, we are not using them. I imagine these would help keep the gate in place if a dog were to jump against it.I am going to come up with a solution, as Ike has already figured out that he can manipulate the gate at the bottom with his paw. I caught him trying to jiggle the door open and had to admonish him.Carlson makes a very large variety of these gates. I think this height and width also comes without a walkthru door, less convenient, but more Ike and breakout-proof. I did call Carlson to make sure I got the proper gate and to ask a few question. The rep gave me the appropriate information so I could order from amazon. I have prime and it arrived in two days.Had to revise this review already! While looking to see if Carlson makes a wide enough expansion gate without a walkthru gate, I stumbled on Regalio"s tall wide-span gate and will order it instead:$18 less, also pressure-mounted, better locking mechanism, no small pet door, with walk through gate that doesn't have the gap that my dog will use to pry the gate open with his paw!So, this is going back!

After about 2 1/2 years the latch broke and no parts are available for repair.

Very tall gate so my labby won't jump it.

Buyer beware, Carlson will not sell parts for OOW gates.Latch mechanism failed causing gate to be jammed shut. Carlson will not sell replacement parts for their flimsy latch mechanism. I would not recommend their products to anyone, much less a friend.Thankfully there are plenty of others who manufacture the same products.

DO NOT BUY -- BARS ARE TOO FAR APART. Do not buy this gate unless you ONLY have large dogs. The bars are too far apart on this gate, and your cat will get its head stuck between the bars and possibly injure itself or choke itself to death.

商品自体はとても満足です。女性一人で取り付け出来ましたし、スライド式のロック解除も【コツ】をつかむとスムーズに解除できます。開閉扉も使いやすく、何より猫用の小さなドアが気に入ったのですが想像以上に便利でした♪ただ一点・・猫の喧嘩防止の為に購入しましたが、小柄なメス猫は柵の間を通り抜けちゃいます！（4kg台）太ったオス猫（7kg台）は頭は入るものの通り抜けは出来ませんでしたが。我が家では弱い猫の逃げ道となったので良かったのですが、猫用で検討されている方はお気をつけください☆（オス猫がどうしても開けたいようで、突っ張り部分をガリガリする為、両サイドに猫避けを付けました）

オートロック部分が２か月で、ロック解除用プッシュボタンが片側破損。その後もう片側のロック解除用スライド部品が内部で破損する。オートロック部分を取り外し解体し、破損したプラスチック部品を接着、修理して本体へ取り付け再使用していたが、再度オートロック機構内の部品が破損し、現在片側のみロック解除ができる状態である。オートロック機構部分を全取り換えしたく、取り換え用部品を探しているが見つからず。製品を取り扱っているところがあれば教えていただけないですか。宜しくお願い致します。
