I'm 40 years old, with fair skin, and a medical doctor = starting to see age show on my skin (not too bad, but it's there), fair = somewhat more sensitive skin (to sun etc), and I do have professional knowledge of how the skin works, and what works for the skin.Due to it being somewhat pricey, I hesitated before buying, however I did, and stuck with this one compared to cheaper alternatives after doing some research.And I'm actually IMPRESSED. It's really turing back years, in a week. I'm still working on enlarged pores on the T-zone, but nothing - having tried masks, scrubs, exfoliation and hydroxy-acids, has ever been as effective as this.I highly recommend it. If used correctly, you will not be disappointed.Tip! Important to use sun-screen at all times when treating your skin this way to prevent excessive pigmentation and spots.

To say that I like this product would be fair, I am amazed by it! I take very good care of my skin now. In the 80s and 90’s that wasn’t the case. I use RetinA during the less sunny months Incase of any accidental sun exposure. I usually see some of my skin sluf off but very minimal. I used sunless tanning lotion every day of my face and head, I wouldn’t want to look like a horror movie villain. Every single time I use the device I clean it as suggested. When I clean it, my powdery beige stained skin is heaped around the filter. I can actually see my skin that has been removed. That is absolutely amazing! I waited a full month before doing this review as to make sure that it kept working as promised, it has! My one complaint it sometimes my hand hits the button and it pauses while trying to use it. I wish there was a lock feature. But I’m adult, I can turn it back on, no big deal. My face feels like I had a really good pedicure and can breath the next day. Everyone at my salon thinks that I started using a new makeup. That dewy shine is my fresh skin, under my self tanner of course.

Update:I was pleasantly surprised when I recieved an email from the company offering to give me a smaller piece to resolve the issue of not being able to get to those hard to reach areas. That is great customer service and impressive! Also I will say that I've noticed the more I use the device the more results I get. I literally see the dead skin coming off as I'm using it. To get the absolute best results when you notice this stop and use the bristle brush that's included to brush off all the gunk or even switch to the 2nd included piece to ensure best results. Last I haven't had an issue again w the manual mode so that's even better. I highly recommend this device and as I said previously this was the device that was recommended most when I was searching for a great device.The reason I gave it a 3 is due to the manual setting not working all the time and that it doesn't work well on all of my nose but I do like this product.When I first tried it the manual setting didn't work only the auto setting worked. The next time I tried it on manual setting it worked. So that is definitely a major downfall for an expensive product.As for how well it works...I'm not one to just use once or twice and judge it especially when using something I'm not an expert on. So with that being said the first time I used it I didn't exfoliate well first so it did seem to give ok results. I love exfoliants a lot and believe it or not the best DIY exfoliant to use for good extraction is simply baking soda and charcoal powder mix(I use a vitamin C cleanser or just a little water to make a paste). Now that I use that after cleaning my face w my Mia device I do get good results. Would I say its worth $199 well given that the settings don't work always I'm on the fence w yes or no and the fact I can never get good suction on the bridge of my nose which is definitely a must do spot for extracting. So I'm not sure if that's a suction issue or if that part of your nose is just really hard to do. I do like how portable it is and I don't feel like it is a big process so it's more encouraging to use that's for sure.It will give you good results without harsh results as long as you watch videos and take your time it's not going to scratch your skin up and of course you're going to be very red after but I love it cuz I know I've done a good job. Most important you must finish w a good skin care regimen especially since you've gotten the dead skin, clogged pores clean and now your product is able to get down in there much better. I did do a lot of research before buying this product and it was recommended above many others.

I purchased this product after searching for a solution to my acne scars. I have systic adult acne and have had many breakouts that left me with pitted looking skin and large pores. After just one use my skin looked amazing! I was skeptical to invest the $$$ because what if it didn't deliver the results I was hoping for, well this did that and more. My co workers commented on how great my skin looked after just one use! They didn't even know I used it, they thought I had different make up on. I will post pictures soon. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.Update: Almost 2 months of use and my skin feels and looks better. It usually takes about 9 months to get very deep scars to shrink down but I have noticed results already.

I was very surprised how good this product is I have use this twice now last and this week. I use to do regular microdermabrasion in my local beauty salon every month for the last 12 months and I was happy however it cost a lot money. This is a grate for me as I can do it in a comfort of my own home and I can do I more often, effects is same good as the one in the beauty salon, so simple to use! Please make sure you buy good quality moisturiser and soothing products like cream and masks. Please moisturise, moisturise moisturise! You need to make sure your follow do and don’ts after your Microdermabrasion as if you don’t moistures probably you won’t see any good results and you can end up with very dry skin! I 100% recommend this to everyone who already have done microdermabrasion in beauty salon and understand how your skin reacts to mechanical pealing.

Really disappointed with this. Spent a lot of money hoping to get a salon feel at home. Instead it marks my skin and does nothing for my blemishes as salon microdermabrasion does. Used on various settings and still gives me red lines/ marks. Used 4 times and now can’t return it. Not happy with this and would not recommend.

I absolutely love this!!!! I have a lot of white heads and blackheads poking out of my skin and as a darker woman I suffer with discolouration. After the first use the texture of my skin got a lot better. I now use this 2x a week and it has been 2-3weeks now and I notice my face seem a little bit more uniformed. For me a great purchase

Acquistato con un’offerta lampo. Essendo un tool per l’esfoliazione profonda della pelle del viso, spero mi possa aiutare a migliorare le mie piccole cicatrici da acne e a migliorare il tono della pelle in generale . Per ora l’ho usato 2 volte, difficile lasciare una recensione sui risultati. Posso dire che il giorno dopo il trattamento la pelle è risultata essere maggiormente morbida e luminosa. Sui risultati aggiornerò la recensione nel tempo.

I was expecting more from this item especially for the price but I didn't see where it was making any difference to my face with regular use.

I recently had microdermabrasion at a spa and was disappointed with the result. I purchased this unit to take care of it myself, and I am thoroughly impressed how good this little unit is. The suction was powerful, and results were much better thsn the spa! Highly recommended.

I have been using it regularly once a week. Skin feels noticeably smoother and my breakouts have reduced visibly. I do have trouble holding the shape of the machine in certain areas of the face though, not sure why they designed it to be like that, but happy so far.
