I was really excited about this product as my husband takes a bar every morning for breakfast. We usually buy RxBars, Primal Kitchen and most recently his favorite PureTrim bars (very pricey), so when I saw Perfect Keto was offering a bar I jumped in and bought a box. We love their MCT oil powder, MCT oil, etc. BUT these bars are a disappointment. Firstly, way too cloyingly sweet, with stevia, which lingers on the tongue and fills your whole mouth with sweetener flavor. I know “too sweet” is a relative term because every person may have their idea of sweet, but too both my husband and I, not a fan. The bar itself with the almond butter base had a pretty good texture, maybe a bit chalky, my husband said, but that could be because his was cold at the time of eating it. We are returning the product as we will not be able to eat these with the current sweetness level. Hopefully, in the batches to come from Perfect Keto they will review the recipe and realize that people who are keto, have cut sweet as a whole from their diet, so they don’t crave it, so very little sweetener will go a long way. With natural nut butters I would appreciate salt versus sweet. To end, I bought these bars because I believe in the company, and loved the list of ingredients, collagen, coconut oil, etc. Having been keto/Paleo for over 4 years I thought this may be a nice pack and go, or dessert option, but unfortunately, not for us!

I've been living a ketogenic lifestyle for a couple of years now. I don't normally like to rely on convenience foods but this is real life and I'm busy. I've looked into a bunch of different bars to have on hand but just wasn't crazy about the ingredients. I have an autoimmune disease so I have to be super picky about what I am putting into my body. First of all, MINIMAL ingredients and nothing weird. DAIRY FREE which is also amazing. I love that collagen protein is being used because collagen is rich in proline and glycine which is great for the gut! Another concern of mine in finding a good bar has been finding a good balance of macronutrient ratios which reflects my eating style and this bar fits in perfectly! 19 grams of fat, 10 grams of protein and 3 NET carbs (12 total carbs). As far as TASTE goes, I love that it isn't too sweet (sweetened with stevia) but has a great chocolate flavor. The TEXTURE is soft and not hard like other bars I've tried. Overall, I am really happy with these bars and will continue to keep them on hand!

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this product has an ingredient called "soluble tapioca fiber" which is an "IMO", and should not be labelled as dietary fiber (as it WILL spike your blood sugar). I urge you to look it up. I gave this product 1 star due to the fact that they market the net carbs incorrectly (and my guess is that they know). Hope this helps.

I've been on the keto diet for six months, so I'm always looking for good, tasty protein bars that have low carbs along with sufficient protein and fat. So I decided to try three flavors of the Perfect Keto bars: Almond Butter Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Salted Caramel. I know now that one thing should have tipped me off from the product pages on Amazon — there were no pictures of the bars outside the wrapper. Oh, you get the end of one, poking out of the wrapper, but that's it.When my three boxes arrived, I was looking forward to trying them. I opened one box, took out a bar and got my first surprise; the bar was only a little over half the size of the wrapper. I opened all three boxes to see, and they're ALL that way. My photo shows the actual bars next to their packaging. This is a waste of packaging and a deceptive portrayal to the consumer. No wonder the nutrition numbers were so good...it's only HALF A BAR!I opened one of the cookie dough bars and was stunned at how oily, slimy, and misshapen the bar was. It was a disgusting mess to handle. My second photo shows the oil pooled inside the wrapper after the bar was removed. It was a mess.So, small size, unappealing appearance, and yukky texture...I could have still tolerated these bars if the taste was great.But it wasn't. Crumbly, somewhat bitter, and artificial-tasting. Any Quest bar is MUCH better than these. Yes, I tried all three flavors and was not pleased with any of them.This was a doubly expensive lesson for me, since I won't be eating the rest of these things. This is the most disappointing thing I've eaten on the keto diet.

i love protein snacks, especially chocolate flavored. over the years i've tried 20+ products in powder, bar, or liquid format, by all the major (and some minor) brands.for the last 2 years i've had a single [Quest] chocolate chip cookie dough bar every morning with coffee. when Perfect Keto's bar came out i immediately bought a case to try it.unlike Quest bars, which i can crush in 3.7 seconds, this Almond Butter flavor is "richer" and i usually spend 10-15 mins nibbling on it. i like this difference; i enjoy my breakfast more.the flavor is unique, and i can't describe it to any other bars. read other reviews and you'll see similar sentiments. but it's sort of like semi-sweet chocolate sea salt. definitely does not taste like a "protein bar." goes great as a companion with coffee.now finishing my 2nd case, so long Quest.

This product is awesome. I'm always looking for an on the go snack and literally every single bar at wholefoods is at least over 6g of sugar or has so much soy isolate in it that it's terrible for you!!!!! This bar is low sugar and only has clean ingredients. WHAT A GAME CHANGER! Thank's perfectKeto for putting out such delicious and healthy products. I hope this bar gets stocked in all groceries in the next few months. I'll keep buying online in the meantime

Well... PERFECT KETO is far from what the name implies. The.bar contains over 30% Tapioca Soluble Fiber which is also known as IMO. This ingredient causes glucouse levels to rise dramatically. The glycemic index of IMO is higher that that of pure sugar and it is close to 100.Tapioca fiber is NOT accepted in the FDA dietary fiber list. This product is NOT KETO OR DIABETIC FRIENDLY... more like KETO SCAM. Expensive and bad for your keto diet.

Ordered these bars w/ 2 day delivery, arrived Oct 7, 2020 with an expiry date of Oct 19, 2020 which is ridiculously close for a packaged item and means I should eat 1 bar a day from when I received them until when they expire, which is not at all what I was planning to do. For $50 worth of snacks that's not a great experience. The taste is pretty bitter, which I expect a bit from a stevia-sweetened item but I'm wondering if the flavour has changed since they're almost expired. Won't be ordering these bars off Amazon.ca again, do not recommend, assume they've been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a long time :/

I received these today and just took a bite and honestly cannot take a second one. It is absolutely the worst tasting protein or keto bar I have ever tasted, both in texture and flavour. Perhaps some of the other flavours are more palatable. Half-hour later I am still feeling nauseous and trying to get rid of the taste from one tiny bite. I am sure I sound very dramatic here but this is honestly no exaggeration. Zero stars if that was an option.

For me, expiry date is very close. It’s only 3 weeks. I am not sure how to finish them in this period. They are very far from having good taste. I ordered almond butter brownie flavour, however, I couldn’t find any such taste or trace of almond. However, brownie is version was good.It’s too much sweet and oily from inside. The price is also high and it’s awful taste doesn’t justify the price. I will never buy the “No sugar” option from next time. Since it’s a good brand, I can trust the nutrition facts and having 10 G protein. I also liked its thickness, it’s not much thick as compared to others which is a good point.Due to close expiry date and expensive price, I won’t recommend it. May be I will try cheaper one next time.

Been eating these for years. I have noticed that the taste is inconsistent and sometimes the batch of bars just tastes different than previous. I've searched far and wide, all across North America, and these bars are the healthiest; especially for anyone on Keto or with SIBO, IBS, IBD, or Crohn's. They are quite expensive in Canada, and shipping direct from PK is even less cost effective; but, you'll have a hard time finding anything healthier.

I really wanted to like this product but took one small bite and threw the whole box in the garbage. Not a good flavor, a REALLY strong after taste, crumbly and oily. Plus a couple of the bars had leaked through the packaging so all the bars were covered with an oily film.Not good in any way. Do not waste your money. I had to give this 1 start but it deserved 0 stars.If you want a good Keto Fat Bomb. Buy NoSugar Keto Bomb. The Dark Chocolate Mint and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter are particularly good. Taste very close to a Peppermint Pattie and a Reese's Peanut Butter cup.
