I ordered this with a personalized engraving both sides for my wifes bday. In a completely seperate order I ordered 2 of the heart shaped pendants for my daighters with the same inscription on the front but different on the back. All three were delivered in the same package. And I have to say that they were all beautifully made. The problem is that they all had been engraved with the inscriptions for my daughters and I really did not want to give my wife a gift from me engraved from Mom & Dad. So I emailed the seller. No reply. 3 days later I emailed again. This time I got a reply. They asked me to send photos of the wronly engraved pendant and to veryfy the correct text. I did that and 3 days later I recieved another pendant that had the correct inscription but this time the text was poorly layed out and two of the words with a coma between were all run together with no spaces.So I give up. It is not worth the frustration to go through it another time. I will give the hearts to my daughters and toss the others and then go look for something else for my wifes bday.Revised: After my review seller refunded purchase price.

I have my original USMC dog tags from 1986 and I liked this dog tag.It was the same size as my original dog tags but about 5X thicker.I chose the gold tag with the silver engraving.Note that the engraving is located along the width of the dog tag, while my original dog tags are stamped along length of the dog tag. I would have liked to see the engraving done along the length so it would match my original tags. Because of this, all of the info from my original tags would not fit on one side.The following info is stamped on my original USMC tags from 1986:Line 1: Last NameLine 2: Initials (First and middle names)Line 3: SSN and Blood TypeLine 4: Branch of Service and Male/FemaleLine 5: ReligionI was not able to engrave my blood type on the front, so I had it engraved on the back.I liked the fact that this dog tag could be engraved on both sides. I also liked the fact that the chain that I received was the same length of my original chain, but a lot sturdier, so I used this chain for both of my dog tags.I also thought that there was plenty of room left on the front side for a 6th line which would have been my blood type.What I would like to see improved:- A choice to have the engraving done along the length of the dog tag to match my original tags (that was my intended purpose)- A choice of larger font sizesWith that said, for $25, I am a satisfied customer.Thank you.Take care.- Gary G

I just want to say Thank You! I ordered this in memory of my Grandpa. It came in just an hour ago and as soon as I opened it I cried!! I absolutely love it! It's perfect! The lettering is amazing, the quality of the dog tag is great! I thought it would be really big and heavy but it's perfect size. I added the fish hook charm myself to the necklace because fishing was our thing

The letters are so small you can barely read it. My fiancé lost the original necklace I got him and unfortunately the seller no longer has the product so I decide to order two more both from new sellers. This one was definitely a miss.. and this one was the most expensive one. much below my expectations.

I ordered this for my sister who has Alzheimer's and resides in an ALF (incase she wanders off). The pics don't do it justice as when I ordered it I thought it was an overpriced piece of junk. But once it arrived and I was able to view it upclose....I think it is a very nice piece well worth the price paid (I certainly don't feel it's overpriced)....and the personalized inscription looks great.

I wanted to memorialize one of my pets on a custom engraved dog tag, for use as a keychain. I chose this particular tag, because it is thicker than a regular dog tag, and it is made from stainless steel, not aluminum. I also liked the fact that the tag was available in with a black coating or finish. The engraving work was nicely done - I had no problem getting the vendor to engrave the tag just the way I wanted it, including the addition of two paw symbols on one side of the tag. The vendor included a beaded chain for wearing the tag as a necklace, along with a short chain with a keyring; however, I chose to use the keyring directly with the tag. Only time will tell how durable the finish is, but I suspect it will last for quite a while. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase of this custom engraved tag.

Unfortunately the instructions for adding the heart symbol are unclear. I used the "<3" option to add the heart and since it said in the instructions For ♥ Symbol.... type “HEART” Word with quotation marks... or Type “<3“I typed exactly that: "<3" and ended up with a heart in quotemarks.You would figure that seller would have the common sense to realize that the quote marks are not supposed to be engraved.. But nope.Since it was a present directly sent to the recipient, I didn't have the opportunity to correct the problem.Thanks.Edit: the Seller sent a corrected version of the item free of charge and without the hassle of having to return the incorrect engraved item. Therefore I raised the score from 1 to 4 stars.

Arrived only 3 days after ordering; Tag/Pendant is 2 cm” thick metal and I can tell will last; bail is good quality and can be open and closed so the pendant/tag can be put on the key chain (included) or ball chain (included); Ball chain states “USA” and is about 23” total; think my sons going to love it! Thank you!!Tip: I am going to use 3 thin coats of the clear “jewelry saver” on the tag to prevent any scratches. I know my kid and he’s tough on everything. I’ll update in a few months.
