which is great as i had purchased another previously and it wasn't working with my xbox one x. this does perfectly and has a splitter built in that works well for game capture. it does bring it down to the highest common resolution when i do split it though but i am ok with that as i can only capture 1080p at the highest either way.box is small enough yet offers plenty of features and has a nice ARC pass through for sound which i plan on using when i upgrade my sound system.the 2 things that have caused me some issue are this. firstly this is a first world problem completely, but it does not auto detect at start up the active input. secondly is that audio and video will either not work, or freeze and require a full restart of the device to get it to work again properly. sometimes if you switch inputs either on the box or the tv it can fix it, but usually you'll have to unplug it and then restart everything.as a piece of advice, i suggest having everything off and plugging in the cable from the splitter when using that function. if you have it on and plug in the splitter it will most likely freeze the input.

I tried for over an hour to get this switch to work. Most of the time it gets stuck on one input and doesn't respond to any buttons pushed. Other than unplugging everything and reconnecting, there doesn't appear to be a way to reset this thing. I did get it to work once for a short time, but it changed the scaling for my computer to the point it was almost unusable. I verified all of my HDMI cables were good so I'm sure that's not the problem. I've emailed the seller and will update this review of any resolution.*Update 7/24/2019* I received a very prompt and courteous reply from the seller that offered to let me purchase another new switch from them at a 99% discount. I declined and received a refund.

I use this splitter connect my 4k projector and 1080P LED TV.The inputs are 4k blue ray player, computer and Denon 1080P AV receiver.The problem I had was my AV receiver can not pass 4K or 3D video signal. I end up by pass receiver watch 4K or 3D movie.Cannot enjoy my surrounding song system. With the ARC function on this splitter, I can use fiber output to my receiver for the surrounding song will watching 4k/3D video

I tried this out so I could hook up a playstation and a PC to 1 HDMI port on my TV. That way I wouldn't need to manually move them because that particular HDMI has the lowest input lag.I was no impressed with the product, it seemed to add an audio delay, and more input lag. You would have to press the buttons on the remote multiple times to get it to switch as well. Overall, not worth the time.

This product is great. Not only that, customer service is without a doubt the best I have ever received on Amazon. The product does what it says, it is flexible in how you can connect your equipment and passes on the correct signals. Only problem is that I doesn’t seem to work with DTS or 7.1 audio. Connecting everything is straightforward - but do keep tabs on everything as this is usually the heart of a complex network of wires! Bottom line, definitely recommend.

Seller went above and beyond to replace unit damaged in shipping.Product works well for my needs, which is mirroring signal to 2 HD monitors, from several input devices, cable box, raspberry pi 3, composite to HDMI converter. Splits audio out to home receiver. No complaints so far.

See the other 1 star reviews... like the others I received a dud system that worked for 10 minutes then got stuck on input 4 (no hdmi there) and it’s been locked there ever since!!! In reading the other bad reviews it’s the exact same problem - seems like it’s a 50/50 risk ok this item!!

Want to keep this thing powered up? You won't have it last for long. Cheap chinese micro USB power port broke after only a few months of being very gentle with it. Terrible quality control.
