We were looking for something that would help our sunshades with our living room having an east facing window. It gets hot. We decided to try these grey bois out. Not only did it eliminate the hot suns unforgiving rays, but it introduces darkness to the room, a darkness so dark we have named it Advanced Darkness. Our tv never looked so vibrant. The children have lost most of the color to their skin and hiss when the front door is opened and the suns oppression begins. 10/10. Going to get more.

So I got these after my daughter complained about feeling she was sleeping in the parking lot with the lights from her apartment parking lot coming through her blinds. I purchased these to help with that and I just got back from a weekend there. I slept in her room once, in Sept, which led me to buy them, so I know what she was talking about. I slept in her room this weekend and the curtains were hung. HUGE difference. Not only are these really thick, they are well made, and they did help with cold air coming from the window. I cannot believe the difference. When she hung them, she said it was the first night she had actually slept well since she moved into the apartment and so did her roommate since I gave one panel to my daughter and one panel to her roommate. BEST PURCHASE EVER.

These are awesome!!! Just purchased my third pair (have two single long ones). They are great for room darkening but are awesome curtains. Love everything about them. I did get another shorter pair. Thanks for the advice from customer about removing the wrinkles. They said to put in dryer with damp towel. It works. If you buy a pair, take really damp small hand towel and do one at a time. I did on high heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Takes out every wrinkle. I soaked towel and rang it out so it wasn’t dripping.

These curtains are incredible! I haven’t had a chance to put up the white ones I recently purchased but I had purchased some brown ones and they are wonderful! Not only do they give the room an elegant feel but they’re pretty thick which traps the cold from outside. We can immediately feel the breeze in the morning when we open them up. It’s winter time here right now so we don’t see much sun but I’m sure it will definitely block the sun light as well. Our room has become so much warmer since we have installed our curtains. We are just waiting to get some materials to install the white ones in our little ones room since that room is he coldest. I can’t wait to see how this is going to change his room. Love these!!!

Have already purchased two sets of these for my sons room (spacing on the curtain rod was not correct for the scrunched look that should be when using grommet-ed shades; make sure that you have extra inches versus the length of the window), the look is great, the quality was expected and the fit was great with the curtain rod that I purchased from BBB. It has been record heat in Santa Monica these past weeks, and can not comment on how well these keep a room cool; so far the room is hot however I suspect that this is from lack of air movement in general. Central A/C in Los Angeles is not common. The blackout properties are what I expected and suffice for my objective as I plan to have a set installed in the master bedroom when the opportunity comes.I would recommend these to other buyers, make sure you measure and purchase adequate numbers before you confirm the order.

I used these curtains to hide an open closet in my home office, which gives me more room than the sliding doors did. The closet opening is about 60" x 73". I was pleasantly surprised by how nice these curtains they are! They're a really beautiful color (the burgundy is just as the pic shows,) and are very soft to the touch....almost velvety. I was afraid they might be too heavy, but they're just right. I used a tension rod (the kind used for shower curtains,) which made is super easy to hang the curtains. The grommets slide easily over the rod so they'll get a lot of open and close use. Plus the whole ensemble, including the rod, cost less than $60 and really enhances the room. I'm very pleased. :-)

Looking for new curtains suitable for a 13 year old can be tricky. She is beyond the cute stuff stage, but not into fancy elegant treatments either. Really love these. I got different colors in each room and they all work wonderfully. They help keep out the light and the cold, they are lightweight and come in amazing bright colors.

Bought for my son to keep out tropical sun. Excellent job. Good quality. Hard to find shorter lengths and I don't sew to shorten those long ones so great that different lengths available.
