I love this blanket, its so comfy. spur of the moment purchase cos it was on sale and so glad I went for it. I'll be honest, I was sceptical about how effective and/or well-made it would be but it has impressed me on both fronts. Has really improved my quality of sleep. It's warm but at the same time doesn't make you overheat like a lot of thick blankets do so you can sleep all night with this and a duvet without having to wake up roasting in the middle of the night to remove your blanket (I do live in Scotland though so if you live anywhere south of there then the blanket alone could be enough for you, unless it's particularly cold). One word of caution is that it is deceptively heavy so if it's going to be used by somebody very small or physically weak they might struggle with it. I also enjoy the product description which states this is a 'non-drug' product ... this was incredibly reassuring as I had initially worried I would just receive a gigantic fentanyl patch with a few bricks tied to the corners. I've given it 5 stars for value for money as I got it on sale half-price but not sure I would have bought it had it been at its original price.

Never had heard of products like this. My pursuit of good quality sleep makes me invest in the wildest things and decided to give this blanket a go.On top of my sleep problems, I suffer from chronic pain, which affects the quality of my sleepBought the product and the first night, as it was very hot, only placed it on top of my legs, to feel it. I immediately felt a sense of relaxation and muscle pain relief. I couldn’t believe it, it was amazing. It gives a sense of comfort, protection and relieves my naturally sore muscles resulting from my chronic pain. It was as if I ended a yoga class, had a shower and went straight to bed.Bought the 10kg blanket but will do some research on how much weight can I use, as I’ve folded it in half and the relief is astoundingNo idea if my body will get used to it and the relief will fade in time but for now I cannot recommend this more than anything else for stress, pain and sleep problemsTruly a champion item and will definitely try to invest in more weight, as a lot of my pain also arises from very stiff musclesAn 11 out of a 10 scoring scale

I have had my weighted blanket for around 2 weeks and am very surprised really at the benefits. The 9kg blanket just covers my small double width wise and I have my normal duvet underneath.It's heavy for sure! But as a terrible sleeper who wakes up countless times a night I have now had some really good night's sleep which is a real plus!I suffer from anxiety and this blanket just makes me feel safe and relaxed, hard to explain but as soon as I get into bed under my duvet and weighted blanket all my tensions and stress ease and I relax quickly and easily.Definitely a good purchase, not the prettiest of grey cotton quilted blankets but add a couple of nice cushions and it's fine!One good thing is ..... it doesn't slide off the bed as too heavy and if I get too hot I just fold it back until ready to pull it back.

I've wanted a weight blanket for 2 years and I finaly bought one I am 70kg so was advised to buy a 5 - 7.5kg blanket but I opted for the 9kg as i wanted it heaveyThe blanket arrived and I was so excited to try it out first night I was a little disappointed as it didn't feel heavy enough so the second night I decided to fold the blanked so it was double on me and I loved it, the pressure I wanted but the blanket was then half the sizeI put a lot if effort into deciding witch one would be best if me and still got it wrong but i am so glad I didn't choise the 5-7.5kg one that was recomended as i would have been extreamly didsapointedI do wish I had ordered the 11kg one so I'd have size and weight but I've made mine work for me I do think it's down to personal preference.I struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep on average 4-6 hours of poor quality I suffer with anxiety and can't switch my brain off second night with this and 7 hours of solid sleep (deep light and rdm) not once did I wake up

I've wanted a gravity blanket for a while now. Having suffered with late night and early morning anxiety, mild insomnia and light sleeping since a burglary in my house, I had read that these products can help. However, I was put off by the expensive cost. Thankfully I managed to find and purchase this blanket while it was on a deal. It arrived quickly and was surprisingly heavy to lift and carry upstairs! Honestly, I can say that I used it that night and have done every night since (even in the current hot weather). I have been falling asleep almost instantly. My fitbit can also confirm that the length and quality of my sleep has improved massively. It's not as hot as my duvet, despite the fact you can obviously feel the pressure. My only concern is that the sheer weight of it (I have occasionally been doubling it over myself) means I have found myself waking up in exactly the same position I fell asleep! It actually takes some effort to lift it up and move my body around underneath, but this isn't really a complaint. Overall, I'm really happy with the blanket and the benefits I've had from using it. I'm recommending them to anybody who will listen!
