a good experience.
Not much to review here--- it's a gas cap & it fits my 2002 F150. That's all that's required. It did ship very fast & arrive when expected, no problems of any kind. It was a little cheaper than the parts store & I didn't have to stand there trying to figure out which one I needed. All in all, a good experience.

Check Engine
Fit my 2000 Lincoln Town Car perfectly. Took care of that pesky engine light for awhile anyway. Plenty long enough to get inspected. These older cars tend to have a variety of little issues. I know I had an evap code previously, so I thought this might help. Initially I reset it and then when I got about 75 more miles on my car the engine light turned back on. Noooo! So I got this cap, installed it (very easily) and reset it again, this time getting 500 miles before the engine light came back on. I haven’t checked the code in awhile to determine what the issue is, I just know there has been intermittent “evap” issues triggering the engine light in the past. The engine light seems to come on almost immediately after an oil change, which is odd. If anyone has any tips, feel free to let me know!

Solved my 'Check Engine' light problem
Ford Rangers are notoriously fickle with the evap system. My stock gas cap no longer performed it's simple function, so a replacement was needed. This worked, and seems to fit better (easier to put in and take out) than the stock cap.

DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT IS PICTURED!
NOT WHAT I EXPECTED! The gas cap that I received was NOT the one pictured! I ordered from this company because I wanted the cap in the picture. What they sent is NOT EVEN CLOSE! If you want the pictured gas cap, you'll have to order it from FORD...as the one I received is the one sold at auto parts stores and is not OEM.
