Lanard Water Rocket Set

I bought this rocket set hoping I could pass on the fun I had when I was a kid with the red rocket and pump of the old days. If you old enough to remember the red plastic rocket, it went up about 100 ft. This Rocket has the same design, but lacks quality severely. The rocket will not seal to launcher, water leaks out of the air pump at the pump handle, can hear air leaking from the rocket, when launched, it goes up about 2 feet and that all you get. The large rocket will not launch at all after 10 attempts. Unfortunately, my boys damaged the package so I cannot return it, just out the money, so disappointing. Do not get ripped off and by this product, the seller should be ashamed sell this product. This is a true garbage toy, fortunately we have a plastic recycling program , which is where all this plastic junk will end up. You have been warned!!!!!

The pump is flimsy and won't pressurize the rockets at all. I remember the toy of my childhood that was well constructed and worked for countless hours. That pump had a large diameter thick rubber gasket and would pressurize the rockets to a very high pressure. There was no air leakage.

The pressure pump with the Prop Shots rocket set does NOT work properly. I am guessing that there is a non-return check valve inside the pump that is supposed to hold the air and water back inside the rocket until launch, the valve does NOT work. The water comes shooting back out around the pump stem and breather hole before you can release the launch lever. Don't buy this toy, you will be out $16... DO NOT BUY... The Prop Shots rocket does not deserve even one star.

Terrible

I plan to use these rockets at a vacation Bible school class. I am a little concerned about the rockets breaking when they fall back on our parking lot, but other than that, I am very happy with these items. They were delivered in a timely manner, as promised.

Played with my grandkids, they loved chasing it and I loved the nostalgia!

Not worth it. More junk for the land fill. They hardly get any lift and too difficult for a 7year old to figure out. Fun for about one minute. But so underpowered. Maybe fly max to 6 feet if you do it just right but typically just making it off the launcher to a sad nothing.

I think we got lucky and received one that works pretty well. We have fired it many times without it breaking. Well, I guess breaking seriously. The knob at the end of the shaft has come off a couple of time, but I glue it back on. It is true that the system is leaky, so you need to pump and release as fast as you can. This makes it a little challenging for my 5yo--he can't get the rocket to fly very high. I'm sure at some point he's going to push so hard to go fast that the pump shaft will snap. But for now, we are having a lot of fun.
