This was a lot of fun to build, highly detailed but not overly detailed to where it becomes not fun anymore. If that makes sense…? Very rare that an Academy model comes with quite a few photo etched pieces! The plastic is very high quality as compared to most models, and I’ve been building models off an on again for probably 25 years. Instructions are good but detailed and make sure you pay attention to them closely! Highly, highly recommended this model, especially for this price! Ive done models more than twice the price of this one and were not even close to the same quality of this Helicopter. Just buy it!

Came together pretty good but academy instructions are not always very clear or show exactly how the pieces go together so you have do a lot of trial and error. Other then that it’s a fun build.

Very good kit. Minimal fash. Good fitment. Nice photo etched detail sheet and very nice detail on the kit itself.

First and foremost, this model kit is not for someone who does not have any kind of patience or little to no experience building model kits and you will need to buy extra accessories to complete the build correctly. However, once fully assembled and painted correctly with the right tools and equipment this model kit looks like the exact live version of the Marine Corps Cobra attack helicopter.

My kit arrived damaged so I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement. The kit was a joy to build and paint. Thank you.
