Jensen 420BCX Stainless Steel Frame 16.125 by 22.1875 Medicine Cabinet, 16.12" x 22.18"

I am crippled by the memory of quality all metal medicine cabinets of old. This medicine cabinet body is cheap plastic. The cabinet is not made of the best plastic to boot. This medicine cabinet I would define as adequate nothing special but good for the purpose for which it was intended.When the build quality is acceptable and it arrives to your location unbroken you have a utilitarian quality medicine cabinet that should serve you well. I took two stars off for sturdiness but did not take anything off the top rating because, at least the cheap plastic case won't rust in a steamy bathroom. The mirror is real glass but it floats in the casing making damage during shipping more likely. It happened to me. A cracked mirror in the previously unopened box.If you need a medicine cabinet in a low end rental unit this is your best choice. If you are on a tight budget or just don't care this is a safe option. If you want ease of installation it don't get any easier than this unit. The entire cabinet cleans easily. There are no hidden curly cues or twisty twides to collect aerosolized bathroom muck. Shipping was a nightmare but once you get a functioning intact unit the medicine cabinet is a nice addition to a modest home.

Since there doesn't seem to be any good photos of this cabinet anywhere, I added a few to help you all make your decision. I'm not overly impressed, for the cost, but it works.The body of the cabinet is made of steel, not very thick steel mind you, so don't tighten the screws too much. When I first mounted the cabinet, I did, and it must have warped the body a bit, and the door wouldn't stay closed, it just kept popping open. A few minor adjustments, and it closes and stays closed now.The mirror is a nice size, and trimmed with chrome moldings. Again, very basic.

The inset body is metal. Shelves are plastic. Mirror border is flimsy but works. This met my cavity properly (one of a few that would).

Overall the project was much better quality than I expected. I'm giving it 3 stars because the shelves were missing. After digging through websites, I tried reaching customer service but never received a response. Check contents when you receive it.

I purchased this item because it was the only one I found in the size I needed. Cabinet construction is good. Fit is perfect. Three stars because of the door, cheap! However, it will suffice.

I had such a hard time finding a sleek replacement to fit the existing rough in. This was exactly what I needed. I was more excited about finding a simple design to fit my rough in than about the actual cabinet. As a cabinet, it's a standard cabinet. Easy install, nice big mirror.

The product came quickly and as promised. It's nice, though only decent quality. It's very lightweight and feels flimsy - perhaps the norm by today's standards. Also, the frame had a slight flaw (it was bent).
