Spectra Premium SP6085M Fuel Pump Module Assembly

I had to replace the fuel pump on my '04 Chevy Blazer. I as shocked at the price of them locally so I checked Amazon. Sure enough there were several pumps at quite a price range from about 1/3 the price to about the same price locally. This pump was half of the cost. I was uneasy going with the cheapest one since the reviews were poor. So I took the chance with this pump since there were some good reviews.The pump came with everything I needed to change over one wiring harness to a newer electrical connector style. The pump came with a new rubber seal and it fit into the tank perfectly. Actual installation was easy outside of removing and replacing the tank. You do need to be very careful while installing the tank into the car. We bumped the fuel line tube on the pump with the frame of the car. That was enough to snap the one of the tubes in half. Luckily we were able to save the part and replace the plastic fuel line on the car with a rubber one and clamps.Overall I am happy to give this fuel pump 5-stars. A perfect fit at less than half the price.

I had originally ordered the Autobest F2903A, but it didn't fit for some reason (maybe wrong item sent by amazon's warehouse). So I ordered the Spectra instead and it fix my 2001 LT blazer perfectly, for half the price that the local store wanted. Install was easy (would have liked the 2 quick connectors included, but either reuse old ones or pickup a pack) and I did have to switch my wiring harness over to the new plug style (though if your doing this kind of job some basic electrical wiring knowledge is to be expected).Only issue I have had at this point is 2 days later the truck was hesitant to start, but that could mean that i have debris or rust in the old gas line and its stuck in the fuel filter (got the replacement and will be installing this weekend).

It does pump gas, but this brand kind of boasts itself on how well the float or whatever registers the right gas level, and after installation we have found this to not be true. The gas gauge fluctuates a quarter of a tank in either direction from where it actually is, meaning we pretty much have to use our mileage to figure out when we need to gas up. As far as the module's main purpose - pumping gas - it does work well.

Bought this pump for 1/4 what the dealer wanted for OEM. Was worried about the price difference being indicative of the quality and some friends not approving of my thriftiness. Not true. It was a perfect fit on my 1999 blazer and fixed the misreading gas guage problem. After the shop guys took the old one off, they noticed the gasoline had basically eaten away all three plastic tubes on top of the old pump and gas was leaking onto the ground. Good fit, good quality, GREAT price.

My car wouldn't start and my gas gauge wasn't reading correct in addition to a check engine light that always stayed on. I checked prices at the local auto parts shops which were much higher. My mechanic recommended this brand for my 2000 GMC Jimmy. My mechanic installed the pump 2 days after receiving the product and so far so good. Great price and product and I saved tremendously. 2 thumbs up

Good product at great price. You do have to change a few wires but it is very simple to do. Took 1 hour to complete job. Get the new fuel line clips as well they are worth the couple bucks.
