Tight fit but work fine otherwise
I've used these with several different 5.5mm male connectors and they all fit very tight. The work fine but it will definitely be a two hand operation to insert and remove unless the device it is installed in is otherwise stationary or very heavy. The terminals take solder easily and no continuity issues between terminals and the jack itself (I have encountered that with other barrel jacks).The threads are very easy to cross thread with the thin nut included but that's pretty standard with plastic panel mount jacks.As a hobbyist using them in projects for myself and friends/family, I'm happy with them for the price.
